News: Important Notice!

I have officially moved all my stories from empress_rose to a new community _writer_block where I have also added two new articles. I am giving everyone a week to delete this user and add the new one to their friends lists. Also I am going to be deleting the wonderful community crazys_palace since none of my friends ever post there anyways, and i have quit posting as well and now post all my quizzes in my lj anyways. Finally I will also be deleting myst_cheats as no one has even seemed remotely interested in it or asked for help, so thats another community i have created and gone to waste. Alas, no one cares about me! *blubbers* So to sum up i'm deleting two wasted journals and i am giving everyone a week's notice (thats October 21st for all you lazy people who don't look at a calender)!

Bad News Folks!

For the past year my dog has had congestive heart failure and has been slowly deteriorating. Her heart is very enlarged and had fluid build up in the lungs hence she coughs constantly to try and clear it. The coughing has gotten so bad she can barely breathe. Mom took her to the vet early this morning, and the vet gave her a shot. If the shot doesn't work, she will have to unfortunately be put down. Not the best news to wake up to this morning. Luckily though she has been doing relatively well, but there is no doubt in my mind that by the end of the week she will no longer be around. So basically she has anywhere from a day to two weeks tops of living much longer.

She has never particularly liked me as she has taken a liking to my mom because as my mother says "she picks the alpha female." But whenever mom isn't around especially during storms she has always come to me, and she can never resist my pettings and bits of food that we giver her constanly. Despite the lack of love from her to me, i definitely have loved her and its going to be a rough year now having to live without her. You get used to her being around and now she's not. My mom is definitely going to take it very hard, and i know i will too. But i know that when the time comes to take her to the vet for her last time, i won't cry. Not because i can't or don't want to because i have to "be tough." If you knew me, thats definitely not me. But i hold my emotions and feelings inside bottled up, which i know of course is bad. But i have yet to be able to find a way to express them. But back to what i was saying i won't cry and it hurts me to not do that, because i love my dog and i am going to miss her so much. I always loved the way she would come and lay next to my feet when they were cold. When my grandmother died i didnt cry at her funeral. I know that it was because i wasn't close to her, but in this case with my dog i feel that we are close.

So to sum up my dog is dying and im going to miss her a whole bunch.

11 Days Left

Only 11 days till my birthday! I hope i get something good. It's unfortunately going to be a crappy day since i have ralatives coming and visiting, oh joy. That will be fun.

I dyed my hair a medium auburn, which translates in english to a red head, though im naturally a brunette. I had been thinking about it for a while now, and i finally made the decision when i saw a great sale on hair color @ HEB of all places, get this a box for $1.50 of Clairol hair color. Now is that a deal or not. We bought two boxes since my hair is so long, unfortunately when mom did my hair she used most of it on top, so there is a big differenco in color on the top then the bottom. Im thinking of going back and getting a third box to do the bottom. But other than that it looks great and i love it. Its a change from my highlights that my mom did for me with another box, half a year ago or so. But unfortunately since my hair is so thick causing the dye to not take as well than the top that you can still see the highlights, lmao!

Anyways in other news i just finished Harry Potter 6, about an hour ago or so!!! I think it was so much better than the third, but was upset that Sirius didn't come back and that DUMBLEDORE DIED! That was so horrible, i like such a geek cried when i read that, lol! Poor Harry is going through some tough times. Snape was interesting, because i knew he wasn't entirely on the good side but i didnt think he was bad either, so it was interesting to find out what side he really was on. And now Hogwarts now has three teahing positions to fill. One Defense Against The Dark Arts, which unfortunately has been the most hardest position to fill. I don't understand why though, because i think it is an awesome class, and if it was real i would be in it, lol. Second, would be Potiions, because i seriously doubt that Sloghorn is going to stick around, i mean look at it, he had to be persuaded to do the job in the first place, and he likes his comforts and is lazy, so hes going to be gone soon. And last but not least is Headmaster, that will of course be filled by Professor McGonagal, but will she stay in that position, is what i am curious to find out. I know she is definitely suited for the task and i think she would be a great Headmaster.
