Born in Switzerland in 1965, I studied visual communication design and fine art before completing a Master of Arts in Contemporary Arts Practice at the Bern University of the Arts in 2011 and a PhD by Published Work in Visual Arts at the University of Westminster in 2023.
My practice-based research spans installation, time-based media, and speculative narrative, examining how artistic identity forms and evolves within cultural and technological conditions.
My monograph, Narrativising Artistic Discovery: Creating a Unique Artist Identity Through Critical Self-Reflection (Routledge), develops a methodology of reflective artistic inquiry grounded in lived practice.
