Hello everyone!

Sorry for the lack of updates in this blog for over a year now. I am actually still quite active in the fandom. It's just that I can't log in to LJ since my schedule has been hectic. Actually, I just wanted to post here just so I can tell people that I am still alive in the fandom even with the lack of posts. Although I am posting this here, I am not sure if I am going to be active. I am planning to take some lessons over the break so I am not sure on how involved I can be in the whole fandom, but yes, if I have time, I would love to contribute to spreading the love again. Just maybe not this time. That's all.

Hello everyone! It's been so long since I last updated my account and I terribly miss it. I am almost done with all my personal obligations so I can somehow squeeze in sometime to slip a message here. Sorry to all my fandom friends whom I suddenly was not able to interact much as I used to. I'll try to catch up during the holidays but I can't promise. Btw, I know I said I'm going to upload the complete version of "Missed Chances" but things happened in my personal life so I am not sure if I can still edit it. In addition, I might have to keep all my fan videos unlisted from now on. Well, I am still not sure, but if I am going to do so, I am still going to keep my fan video posts here public so people who want to watch them can just search in my index. Also, just give me a little more time and I'll get to all the people who messaged me while I was in hiatus. Sorry for replying late.

Just as the title says, I'm trying the crosspost option in dreamwidth. LJ has been weird to me lately. It does not allow me to log in for more than a minute or two so I'm worried. Hope that will not continue on in the future. The good thing is that it only happens to one browser. Please be okay, my LJ account. Anyway, I'm still not familiar with DW. The graphical user interface (is that even the right term?) seems to be less user friendly, but I think this will help me review all the html lessons I had way back grade school. ~~Yes, education... do not fail me.~~

Also, I would like to add that I'm going to be a bit more careful with my back-up account so the access (to almost all my posts) is going to be limited to my 'access list' only. I'm still going to keep my LJ public to everyone, though some posts with miniscule touch of my personal life are friend-locked. ~~I feel sad I had to delete my first ever post though.~~ Anyway, that's all for now.

It's definitely in season to give and share the love, so I might as well spread the (YutoYama) love. ~~Excuses and justification.~~

Actually, I wanted to share a fan video on Christmas as a gratitude for all the feedback, but time isn't permitting me so I just decided that might as well make it easier for viewers to actually access the videos. I'm not sure until when it'll be public but I am going to make a post if I'm going to change the settings again.

The two starred together in the hit drama series Devil Beside You in 2005. Since then, they have been paired together in other works with Mike appearing in Rainie's music videos during her debut album namely Ai Mei, Li Xiang Qing Ren and Zhi Xiang Ai Ni. They also appeared in TV commercials like the endorsing some Disney items like Mickey which is exclusive only in 7eleven. Such connection right there... Mike endorsing Mickey, with Rainie hugging a Mickey plushie in her Zhi Xiang Ai Ni MV. Aside from that, they also starred in another drama in 2007, Why Why Love, along with their co-star in Devil Beside You, Kingone Wang. ~~I also love that guy. I ship him with Lorene Ren. They were cute in Someone Like You.~~

If I'm not mistaken, even before the start of the drama filming in 2005 those two have been rumored together. Of course, they denied it (which I think is true since it's obviously noise marketing to get people to watch their drama), and despite constantly denying claims of them being together, people can't help but ship them or tease them with each other. Yes, I am referring to Mike's guesting appearances on Guess Guess Guess (a show that Rainie is an MC). They other hosts would always tease them, and their reactions are always funny and cute. The two are obviously good friends and get along well behind the scenes, as mentioned by Rainie in her interview a few times. Also, she ranked Mike as number one in terms of the co-stars she had kissing scenes with since he knows the better shooting angle ~~(paraphrasing here)~~ and is good in creating making the scene look passionate.

NOW (2016)
After nine years of waiting to see them in one frame, I'm sure S.M.A.R.T. (Support Mike and Rainie Together) are more than delighted to see them collaborate again in another music video. Mike played as Rainie's first love in the music video. Although, OTP's ending here is on the angst side (oops, spoilers), just seeing them work together already makes me happy. I read that Rainie has a new drama and I wish her the best, but I hope to see her work with Mike again.

This pair has been known after staring in the Taiwanese drama adaption called It Started With a Kiss. The series became so popular that they filmed a second season for the drama series entitled It Started With A Kiss 2 / They Kiss Again. Aside from co-starring in the drama, the two also appeared as a couple in the music video for Practical Joke, reprising their roles or having characters similar to It Started With a Kiss. Same as Rainie and Mike, Ariel and Joe worked for another drama in 2008 called Love or Bread.
Edit: They collaborated again in 2009 for Joe Cheng's Bu Si Xin (Unwilling to Give Up) music video (although I don't see the video on youtube).

To be honest, I do not really have that much news about this pair aside from their works together. Compared to Rainie and Mike, I find it hard to see ArJoe subbed videos outside of the drama. ~~Maybe I just don't know where to look though.~~ But based on their interactions in some award shows and Ariel's VCR greetings to Joe, I can conclude that these two are friends and have good working chemistry. Oh yeah, did I mention that Joe tried to prank call Ariel one time? Actually, when I first watched them outside the drama I had the shock of my life since I always saw them as Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin so it was weird. Joe (if I recalled correctly) said that in real life his personality is more similar to Xiang Qin and Ariel is more like Zhi Shu. Maybe he is comparing it to how Xiang Qin is lively and Zhi Shu is more formal and smart, this is based on my understanding so do not quote me on this.

NOW (2016)
Early this year, they actually worked together again for a show. Yes, a show... but not a drama. They worked in a show called Race The World, and guessing from the title, this show is similar to The Amazing Race. Of course for this show, there are other casts so they're not always paired together, but from what I read they were paired for three missions (I'm not sure about this one). I know they were paired for the England episode and the final challenge. Anyway, it was nice to see them together. They even play ISWAK background whenever the screen focuses on them. I have yet to look for English subtitles for the show since I only watched the Press Conference and Behind the Scenes with subs. There are raw full episodes on Youtube though.

I'm very happy to see them OTPs working again. They may not be together in real life, ~~even though my shipper heart hurts a bit,~~ I'm glad to know that these pairings are good friends and I am really happy to see that they feel comfortable working with each other. I watched this movie called I Do (2010), and I found the character named Bernard, played by Janus del Prado, a scene stealer because of his lines. He describes love using different allegories which are often unexpected, interesting and funny. I really found his love allegories amusing, so I just wanted to share this with everyone, in case you wanted something to laugh or be entertained about. ~~I also included English translations for those who do not speak Filipino.~~

Warning: His love comparisons are quite bitter and unprecedented to some extent.

"Pag-ibig nga naman, parang cellphone na nahulog sa toilet. Makukuha mo lang kung may lakas ka ng loob.”
Love… it's like a cellphone dropped in a toilet bowl. You can only retrieve it, if you have courage.

"Pag-ibig… parang computer virus, sinisira lahat ng pinag-hirapan mo.”
Love is like computer virus. It destroys everything you worked hard for.

Finally, the most awaited (well at least for me) ItaJump episode just aired early this morning (it was around 1:30 a.m.). For this episode, the program proposes a new and dynamic way of celebrating wedding events by having Daiki, Yuto, Hikaru and Yamada challenge these events with a twist. Since the magazine scans were released a month ago I was already hyped up with this episode. Two of my JUMP OTPs are getting married in this episode so how can I not get more excited. So here I am spazzing all my feels in this post. ~~This was supposed to be my first JUMP related post but J Series Festival happened.~~

What went down:

The show opens with Hikaru cutely imitating the pink mascot (?).
Inoo gets his second turn as ItaJump’s MC.
Hikaru hinting that the members might like or fall in love (with the members I guess) in this episode, when asked about the shooting.
The first event is called First Bite. This time the bride will feed the groom a marshmallow using some catapult machine by hitting the other side of the plank with force so the marshmallow reaches the groom who is 9 meters away. The members’ roles for each event were determined by drawing lots. The bride is Yamada and the groom is Yuto. OTP right there ❤
Yuto succeeded after his 4th try, thus deeming the first event as a success.
The next event is the Bouquet Toss. For this event, the groom gets to throw the bouquet, and not just some bouquet. It was broccoli, thus it was called Broccoli Toss. Same for the girl who catches the bouquet is believed to be the next bride; the guy who gets to catch the bouquet is also believed to be the next groom. The bride is Yuto and the groom is Daiki. Lovely complex much!
After failing so many times, Daiki succeeded in throwing the broccoli for the nth time and Hikaru was able to catch it.
Finally, the last event is the Flower Shower. The twist for this event is that the groom needs to kick a soccer ball in order to ring the wedding bell that is 30 meters away from the groom. With Yamada’s background in soccer he gets to be the groom by default, with Daiki chosen as the bride by drawing lots. My first JUMP OTP.❤
With Yamada kicking the soccer ball after the 32nd time, the last event was deemed a success.
The June Wedding mission wraps up by showing the wedding video containing the highlights and extra footage from the location.

My Highlights:

Hikaru: If this were a real wedding, it would have been awful, seriously!

Most Valuable Performer (MVP):

I wanted to actually choose the best bride and groom at first but they were all too awesome so I settled with this one. I give the MVP award to none other than, Yaotome Hikaru for his outstanding performance as an MC, wedding guest, priest and mother. ~~Awards show much. lol~~ Yes, he might not have been a bride or the groom, but he was definitely a scene stealer for each event. He did his role really well despite not getting the lead. Actually, he had more roles compared to the others. This does not mean I did not like the other members' performances. I love all of them actually. It's just that Hikaru really had me laughing and caught my attention the most for this episode despite not being part of the OTP wedding.

I admit that my high expectations did bite me a bit since there weren't really much moments as I had expected, but then ItaJump has limited air time. The wedding video totally saved the show for me though. It made me squeal for feeling too happiness. Congratulations, ItaJump cast and staff or crew! You made another golden episode. This will be one of my favorites obviously. Hope we can have a part two of this anytime soon. lol *fingers crossed*

I've been excited for this album ever since the announcement last February, and got more hyped up after seeing the logo from the Write On Me music video. I consider their debut album as gold, as every track is my favorite, so I was indeed thrilled for their second album. Upon listening, I noticed that the album had more variety compared to the first album. ~~I am no music genius/critic though.~~ There were more mellow songs than I expected. Although, I am a fan of upbeat songs, I admit that the non-upbeat songs were also good. Overall, the album did not disappoint me, even though I still consider Reflection as a rank higher. Hey, if Reflection is a gold medalist, 7/27 is a silver medalist, and being silver still mean that it's awesome. ~~I know, I only have two albums to compare though.~~ I am happy that the songs were able to showcase their vocals, and I fell in love with them because I love their voices. This album makes me anticipate their next releases.

Ever since I heard this song on TV, it already caught my attention. ~~I thank you credits for writing the song title and artist.~~ This promotional single was actually the reason why I was more hyped up for the album. I was already anticipating the full album ever since Work From Home got released, and The Life just got me more excited.

Work From Home

This song has been my LSS and part of my faves playlist ever since March. This actually got me into the fandom. Although, I am not really a fan of the message, the beat of the song really makes me want to dance to it. Perfect song for me whenever I need to do a lot of tasks (in order to keep me awake). This song never gets old for me. This is probably my summer jam. Enjoy the music video!

When I heard this video, it was used as a background music for a station summer ID for a music channel and since then I could not help but think of summer whenever I hear the song. It would be nice if the girls will be shown relaxing while having a beautiful beach as their background.

I Lied

I do not know why but I cannot help but think of rain whenever I listen to it. ~~Biased much.~~ Well, actually at first I envisioned them driving cars (just driving around) and as they meet in one place, then they get out of their cars. As they get out, they get drenched in the rain and have a dance battle or maybe a choreographed dance.

Scared of Happy

I do not know how to explain it, but then I imagine the girls having their own time to shine and "own concept" for each member. I actually envision a music video inspired by one of the VCRs for Super Junior's Super Show (The First Asia Tour), or they can play around with mirrors, then they can look at their own reflections during in the line "usually fearless, why am I scared of happy?"

Like I mentioned above, this album makes me anticipate on what Fifth Harmony have for all of us in the future. I hope that they'll have an Asian Tour soon. I want to see them perform live and show my support for them. These girls are just so talented. I cannot wait for the day I can see them live. I will really save a lot of money if ever they include my country as part of their tour. Anyways, congratulations to the girls and the fans for the 727 Tour! It's a pity that it's only limited to US, but I believe I can attend their concert someday. Keep the faith!

Behind the Name

I consider this as a part two of my introduction post. I just forgot to post it. Silly me.

So based on my previous post, you probably figured out that I love rain. I love the rainy season because the temperature is cooler. The weather also sets the mood for me to reflect on things and go sentimental on almost everything that I observed. ~~Gosh, I am emotional.~~

With that aside, the real reason why I actually chose this name is actually because of one of my favorite songs from Super Junior's 7th Album. The song is called 사랑이 멎지 않게 (Raining Spell for Love).

I initially did not like this song because it seems so depressing with all the endless declaration of love to someone who does not anymore reciprocate the same feelings ~~(and I was right when I checked the translation)~~. Suddenly, I found myself replaying it. It must have been the vocals. I think this is one of the Super Junior songs wherein they were able to showcase their vocal skills to the audience. Sadly, there is no Yesung though. Regardless, I am in love with the ad libs. Also, the melody of the song is indeed pleasing to the ears. Plus, the opening and closing rain sounds too. Aside from all that, the chorus just hits a spot straight to my heart, right there. ~~I just realized that I stated too many reasons on why I found this awesome.~~

This has been my LSS for days and I decided that since I love the song so much, I'll just have my LJ username inspired by it. I actually wanted the whole title song as username but it was too long. ~~The title of my LJ is even taken from the line of my bias.~~ The English title for the song does not really make sense to me though, even if I try to decipher it. I just take raining spell as probably a metaphor for sorrow or tears, so it can be like tears for love or something like that.
