INTRODUCTION

 
Hello and Welcome!
Thanks for visiting my journal! This is mostly a place where I post fannish things, and sometimes about my hobbies and pictures of my pets and garden. I've been away from DW for quite a while and recently got back into using it regularly, so I'd love to make new/more friends! The majority of my posts are public since I rarely share anything personal here. I'm happy to add anyone as a friend, do feel free to drop me a line if you friend me so I don't miss it. I'm not fussed on whether or not we share fandoms - I love seeing/listening to people squee about their favourite things even when they are not my favourite things! (I'm very much ship and let ship and YKINMK.)


About Me

I'm Nikki (but Rainbow or RR works too), I'm in my late 30s and I am married (as of 2019) and have a son. I live in Sweden. I have fibro and chronic migraines so my availability online varies a lot (if you ever message me/comment and I don't respond, feel free to poke me about it later, I was probably sick and then forgot!).

I have been in fandom under various screennames since 1999. I'm very multi-fandom and definitely a multi-shipper. I heavily identify with fandom is my fandom.

I write fanfic (all of which is on AO3) and I wan't to get back into making graphics and fanvids.

Other than fandom I like penpalling, papercrafts, crochet, cgaming, baking, cooking, reading. I love tea! I have a whole cupboard full of tea in our kitchen. I collect cute/pretty tea caddies and strainers. I'm also getting really into gardening since we bought a house with a big garden a couple of years ago.

I have 3 cats, Kitty, Dasher and Dotty. I'll probably post cute photos of them now and then.

My Fandoms
Like I said, I am very multi-fandom. I very much collect fandoms like they are shiny little treasures, and I will hop between them, sometimes hyperfocusing on something new and sometimes falling back into an old fandom of mine. Below I shall try to keep an updated and complete list of fandoms I am happy to chat and squee about, and which I will also consume and possibly create fanworks for. (Though when it comes to fic, I will happily read pretty much any fandom if it's great fic.) The lists are in alphabetical order to make it easy.
