I don't have a lot of teachable moments in my class this year. They're giving me a challenge, both academically and behaviorally, and some days it's really all I can do just to get them through the day.

But this morning we were doing prefixes and suffixes and the individual meanings of them, and over in the corner I hear one of my girls say, "Ohhhhhh, NOW I get it!"

I teared up.

Oh, class.
