I cannot adequately express how thrilled I am at this time every year when winter is finally over. And yes, I know "winter" is a relative term where I live, but my reasons for wanting it behind me are more than just weather-related. (You'll notice weather is one thing I never discuss here, not when I have friends to the east and north who live in below-zero temperatures for several months.)
