Christopher update.
I talk about my animals a lot with the kids. Yesterday we were discussing how many tortoises (tortii?) I have, of which the total is four. Here is the ensuing conversation between Christopher and myself:
Random child: You like animals.
Me: (refrains from saying yes, I like them better than people) You're right, I do.
Christopher: You're like a farmer. Except you don't wear the clothes and you're a girl.
Me: Girls can be farmers too. /:)
Christopher: Not the pretty ones.
He totally made up for last week when he peed on the playground during recess. :x
