a special and unique snowflake

So I have this little guy Christopher this year, and while he has really been a never-ending source of frustration and hair-pulling for me, I actually like the kid a lot. He's a bright student and works hard, when he's not running off at the mouth. Working hard, however, does not equal working fast. He's really poky about finishing things and prints his letters so painstakingly slowly that I want to scream.

Yesterday, I finally told him to hurry up and finish copying his sentences from the board so I could erase them, as he was (as usual) my last one still writing. He looks right at me and says, "I'm trying, but my brain doesn't go any faster."



Worst. Teacher. Ever.
