Wow, it's been a while...

I know its been ages since I've posted any graphics or anything... partly because I@ve been too busy to make them, and partly because I'm really crap with LJ. I've been free recently, so I was going to wait until I made some graphics to post... but, I can't really use PS anymore.. :P

I'm re-learning, and any useful colour tuts that anyone knows of I would really appreciate! :D I've been scanning around LJ communites and such looking, but I never seem to be able to make them work. :P

This is an attempt of my selective colouring...

I think I'm happy with it, but.. selective colouring confuses me. :P

Thoughts please? :D

Ahh, detentions. Aren't they great?

About a week ago I would have said "Nah, I wouldn't know. I'm a good angelic girl and have never even smelt a detention form."
But a week has passed since then, and I have received a detention form through the post. How mean is that? I couldn't even forge the parents signature. =(

Mum had found it. She wasn't impressed, and began to black mail me with housework by saying she wouldn't tell Dad if I helped around the house. (My Dad would go simply ballistic) So, I used the simple method of...
"So you're going to tell Dad about my detention, even though you didn't tell him about Sarah's" (Older sister).
It was after I said that a long pause occured, only to be broken with...
"I won't tell your Dad. Don't let it happen again."
Lol. =P

So Monday 3pm, I was in that hall, smiling to my friend amongst the other chavs. I had got my half an hour detention for being late. How stupid is that?
But, I admit it, I'm always late. I'm not going to deny or fight it. I deserve it. Being told to "pull up a chair and sit down in the main part of the hall" I looked around. Chavs. Idiotic, moronic, bottom set because they're complete fools, smoke at the gates, think they're "cool" kids in with me. "This should be fun!" ...I thought.

When we got in we had to space out and stare at the wall with the clock on. Okay, I understood that. It was logical for the S.W.A.T team. (The school punishment team of the evilist teachers. Yes, they actually have t-shirts. No joke.)

The worst teacher of all began to read out the register. She is pure evil. Scary, as in wet yourself scary. Don't challenge her.

"..Nicola Jay" (My surname is not "Jay". I just love the idea. lol.)
Yes, that was me. Nicola apparently.

I HATE it when they do that. Why is it such a hard concept to grasp!? Yes, it's got an "e" instead of an "a". Big deal. It's not a really unusual name or anything.

Now I wouldn't mind how they pronounce it, because I honestly don't know myself. Nicol. Nicowle. And there are more ways of saying it.. but I'm fine with them all! Just not Nicola. Understandably.

Obviously, with Miss Scary-McScary reading the register I didn't have the guts to correct her, so I replied to that stupid-ass name. *grumbles* It's okay though.. half the chavs don't know me anyway. They're clouded by smoke most of the time to even notice me.

But it got worse. I swallowed and accepted that she got my name wrong, and that maybe it's an age thing... but my thoughts were interrupted with another name on the register...
"..Nicole Tucker."
I couldn't believe it.
1. There's like 3 Nicole's in my whole school. (Over 1200 people) And two of us were in detention. I started to wonder whether it was a name thing...
2. More importantly... She got her name right!!! I was seriously "omg"-ing in my head. lol. Howcome she couldn't pronounce my name, but she could hers!?

Grr. lol.

Anyway, detention was no fun. The chavs let me down. No immature coughing or tapping of the feet. No stupid noises or humms... nothing. They didn't wind the SWAT team up AT ALL! They did nothing to amuse me.
So in silence we sat. Staring at the damn clock.
Thank God I wasn't one of the lucky ones who had an hour detention. lol.

I'm back now, and didn't die of boredom. Thank God.

Okay, so just been browsing and I've noticed that many people just write about them on here.. so that's what I'll do!

The name liveJOURNAL should have given it away, shouldn't it? Oh well, Nicole's pretty slow nowadays.

So, not much to say really, finished ICT coursework *hurrah* and Biology the other day *yipee*. Now all I've got left is Stats, Chemistry, English and History work to do. Oh joy.

But, I have been quite naughty and the computer has distracted me. Well, Beau has distracted me... (we're on first name terms. *winks*) As you can see, I've gone slightly Beau Brady crazy. First the blend, then the header, and now the av. Shame he can't come back in H&A. *Slaps thigh* I shall have to get on without him...

Life. Life in general. How did life get so damn annoying!? I mean, I'm not depressed or anything so I'm not going to go down the emo route, but I'm just fed up. That's the term for me - fed up. *huff* I don't really know why, I just feel annoyed all the time!
-I'll stop moaning now. lol.

Well, looks like my muse is back on the fic-ness. Returning Emotions seems to be running okay now, and I don't feel like I'd prefer to bang my head with the lovely fairy stick that sits so happily on my desk whenever I realise I need to update. No, I'm actually a chapter in front! :O But now I have to decide what happens next, or.. how it happens.

That links me into my next semi-rant. The thing thats worse than not knowing where your fic is going, is knowing but not knowing how to get there. That's how it is at the moment, I'm not too sure how to get to that final chapter. I know what events I want before that, but I don't know how to place them, or how long it'll be. So I know I just got to ramble until it feels right. Which is another down point, when I ramble, I get boring. lol. I can sense it's boring, it's boring me! But, the people who read my fic shall have to deal. :) This girl has some issues that need time with her fairy stick to sort out, they'll just have to wait. :P

Something has just flicked me in the ear, the realisation that Annie will be the only person to read this. If she can be bothered, because to be honest, I know if she wrote one this long I'd be like "Stuff it.." But that's just because I'm lazy.. :P lol.
