Our Jewish tradition is clear: “A ruler is not to be appointed unless the community is first consulted” (Babylonian Talmud Berachot 55a).

This means that voters should pick our leaders. We want a vibrant, inclusive, and representative democracy where everyone belongs, regardless of skin color, ZIP code, disability, or gender identity. But today, divisive voices are spreading hate while restricting the freedom to vote and sowing fear in our communities.

Let’s work together to ensure that every eligible voter has a say in the decisions that impact our lives to create a better future for ourselves and for all people.
