QuickGamma 2.0 is a small program to calibrate monitors on the fly.
QuickGamma alters the gamma levels, that are the exponent of the relationship between the input signal and the luminance of a monitor.

The usual values for gamma level are between 1.4 and 3.2, being 2.2 the most standard value.

Since most computer monitors don´t have a real gamma of 2.2, it´s necessary to perform a correction. QuickGamma does it.

The program allows you to calibrate your monitor´s a gamma values, which in conjunction with the automatic gamma correction yields a linear luminance distribution for every monitor.

You can correct the values for Red, Green and Blue altogether, or individually.

Once you obtain the right values, you can save that values as the default ones, and the program will be able to apply them later.

You can set QuickGamma Loader to apply the default values on every Windows Startup, to ensure the right gamma correction is applied.

The program shows a gamma chart from Norman Koren's internet pages at http://www.normankoren.com. This charts allows to adjust the monitor brightness along with the monitor gamma.
