For many years, this website served as my personal blog, where I wrote about pretty much anything I cared about — a weird mix of everything from film photography to technology to cooking to whatever else came to mind. In 2019, I split-out my film photography interests into a separate website, originally intending to kill this site entirely. In the end, I left a handful of my most popular posts online, but otherwise abandoned the site.
In 2024, I decided to resurrect this site, reactivate a few bits of old content, and start creating new posts as well. This site will remain a rather esoteric mix of topics that interest me. Those include ham (amateur) radio, technology (especially computing and networking), and food and cooking in particular, but it might also venture into home improvement, media, music, or anything else that pops to mind.
Regardless of what you came here for, I hope you find some items of interest.

- A Home Brew VHF/UHF (2m/70cm) Base Station Ham Radio AntennaI don’t frequently operate VHF/UHF at home — I rarely operate it anywhere to be honest.
