K, so now I'm *back* from Greece ^_^
I don't have *too* much time, but Gabe yelled at me and said I should post more. Gabe is a doodyhead. I *told* him that he's not allowed to just yell at me, 'cause LOTS of other people post even less than I do, but he said that wasn't the point, thge point was that I need to post more, so I am. and then, when I'm at RIT and I have a constant connection, then in between playing WoW, I shall post more. *nodnod* this is the plan.

I'm back. Greece was incredible and beautiful and awesome. and I made a new friend! and she is Shannon, and she is *reeeeally* shiny. *and* I got to read the Dark Jewels short stories again, 'cause Karen is wonderful and beautiful. and she has pretty hair. which isn't terrifying at all no matter *what* she thinks I said about it. I totally didn't say it was terrifying. at all. *sad*
There were lots of dogs roaming the streets in packs and escorting us through Athens, and lots of cats all over, most of which lowered themselves to being petted by us, even though we were American tourists.
I hate being a tourist.
Kirk sat next to me on the plane the whole way back, and discovered how much fun it is to watch me watch a movie. Had he been a fellow student, and not my professor, he would have discovered that watching a movie with me adds a third sense to the experiance. Namely, touch. more specifically, the feeling of having all circulation in your arm cut off everytime I get excited or tense, or irritated, or laugh...He knows not how lucky he is.
There was only one guy on our trip who was a pain in the the butt. Apparantly, he never learned how to enjoy himself. EVER. more on him later.
Anyway, times up. More details later.

YAY RIT! this week has been delightful, and guess what??:

-I have a new and delicious recipe for Cinnamon Buns! They come out HUGE and delicious and squishy and choc full of cinnamon and sugar. I have decided the I will reproduce these for Thanksgiving dinner, but with a twist. I am going to attempt to make a filling of sauteed apples cinnamon sugar raisins and walnuts. or pecans. or something. and a glaze, possibly pear (pear schnapps and juice) or possibly orange. I was considering peach, but I'm not sure... I'll probably need to experiment before the big day. Anybody want to guinea pig for me?

-I made Faiths Borscht, with mixed results: I didn't like it as much as last time I made borscht. I think it needed to have more liquid...'Tino liked it though. However, keep in mind that he hasn't *tasted* the previous incarnations, AND that he didn't like the Orgasm Cake when weighing this peice of information.

-I have become addicted to Katamari Damacy. Finally. After over a year of loving it, watching it, and being vauely obsessed with it in almost every way, I have finally PLAYED the damn thing. They may need to pry me away from the TV with a crowbar come Sunday.

-Wavy Gravy is BACK!!! How come nobody *told* me? It was a sad, sad day when Ben and Jerry's discontinued that most delicious, nutty, chocolately flavour. But now I can gorge myself upon the delicious once more. REJOICE!

-I can not now, nor have I ever been able to, speak Japanese. It's a language I have always planned on tackling AFTER I learn all the dead ones. I now regret not moving it forward in my list sooner. *sigh*

-My life is becoming richer one movie at a time...and MANY episodes of Coupling all at the same time, too. Best Sitcom Ever. Mebbe I can convince Josh and Erin or Campus Video to pick it up...

-Moxy Fruvous is awesome. The End.

-OOOO, maybe a chocolate drizzle for the cinnamon buns!! that would be really really good...
So far, what I plan on making for Thanksgiving: soup. squash and nut and apple soup. its suprisingly amazing.

Obviously, Cholly is cooking Turkeys. Many Turkeys. and stuffing. Annd, Faith is making stuff too. I dunno what yet. mmmmmmmm, thanksgiving.....

-There is a distinct possibility that I will be in Greece for a small portion of January. More on that later.

-People Rock. so does Ben and Jerry's. And geeks. And 'Tino. And um....Coffee. Tiramisu flavoured coffee.

-Anybody who figures out how to produce for me Tiramisu Coffee on a regular basis without me having to set foot in a starbucks becomes my new god. I will build a shrine to you, sacrifice on a regular basis, cook for you, Love you, and generally anything else which I can do for you. Seriously. TIRAMISU COFFEE. *nodnodnodnod*

- I psycho-analyzed stuffed animals, and made them feel better, and the snake kissed me, and THAT WAS THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!

The cabaret rocked. I was very very happy with it, *especially* considering that we had only two weeks from auditions to finish, and *really* only one week. It was awesome. Chris and Erika are a cute couple, and Chris is just sort of awesome anyway.
My 'Tino arrived in time for the disaster we called our cue-to-cue, and was extremely helpful and awesome, and kept me company when I couldn't go to Serenity and then got locked out of my house. Thursday night could have sucked so easily, but it didn't. Yay!

In other news, I am tired and listless and I shall now curl up with hot chocolate and a movie. 'night.

Mleh...
I am sick. blech.
Not SICK sick, where I have a fever and nausea, which is good.
But I cold-sick, where I feel like my world is wrapped in a blanket of discomfort and my throat tastes like metal and my sinuses are pressuring the rest of my face to mutiny 'cause they have more wieght to throw around than anybody else. My sinuses hate me. The apparantly terrorized my immune system into leaving a day or two ago and now they are working on all the other parts of my body, starting with my head.

My director has looked like pestilence and death for the last few days, but she's so busy she can't stop and sit and recover. Everybody in my classes are coughing and sneezing....it's only september! Geeze, the campus isn't supposed to sound like an infirmary until november at least.

Well, now it's my turn. I just feel MLEH. and I require tea. And now I'm off to the Con for 9 hours of rehearsal. but not in a row. so, I'll be home come midnight.

Pray Aesclepius that I recover soon.
