- 'Worked' at the hospital for 3 weeks as part of my curriculum. 8hrs for maybe $5-$10/day is so fun I tell you!!! Crazy shit happens in hospitals and BELIEVE ME I'D LOVE TO TALK ABOUT IT but I am convinced that they can trace my internet shenanigans somehow.
- MRIs do not feel like a lovely space adventure.
- Falling into apathy. But what's new
- Mom and Bro are in Korea. Bro got contact lenses and is suddenly handsome but don't tell him I said that.
- the_devils_see didn't work out. I'm at capeandcowl now.
- Been sitting on my ass all week reading comics and pretending to be fictional characters on the internet. School is starting next week I AM ALLOWED TO NOT CARE ABOUT LIFE RIGHT NOW. I'll start caring ... next week. Yep.

It's nice feeling like a somewhat sociable person. I have never been on fair terms with everyone in my class before, so it feels good.

However, it is now I realise that I very much prefer being alone lol. I always tell people NOT to wait for me, because I most likely won't wait for them, but they do it anyway out of some social obligation. It's nice of them -that I can't deny- but they better not expect the same out of me because I don't believe in social obligations. I do what I feel like doing; there's no simpler answer than that.

At times I feel like a hypocrite, however now it kind of makes sense. I think I've always been a lonely person, so I've conditioned myself to function happily alone. This isn't a whining post lol - I love life. I'm so happy right now. I always say that my feelings are isolated incidents, and I honestly believe that. With such an awesome family to go home to, nothing the outside world throws at me can truly affect me now. God's on my side too - I don't need outside people.

I've taken the habit of hugging my parents regularly, and telling them I love them. You'll be surprised how much they love it. At first they thought I had motive lmfao, but now they've eased up and taken up the habit of saying it back too. I think that, in this lifetime, you have to love all who are close to you because human life is fragile. I don't care how cliche that sounds. I'm not dying a person with many regrets.

I'm going to regret this post when Monday comes and the blues hit me lmao

Here's an update on life, I guess.

A lot of people think I'm silly for wanting to change even though my GPA is 3.44. Honestly, I think I'm silly too, but . . . I'm just not cut out for Nursing, I guess. I can't seem to master the skills and I'm so afraid of ending up hurting someone because of my own incompetence. I don't know what I want to do from here, but what I do know is that I don't want anybody to be adversely affected because of me.

If my transfer is approved, I might be taking Business Management instead. I'm not too crazy about it, but I'm sure it'll all be fine. Everything else . . . I'll leave to God.

I'm not really on hiatus from plurk. Hiatus implies that I intend to come back, and honestly I don't think anyone's waiting for me so there's not much reason to. Oh well, I don't mind. I've been spending some of my time reading Junji Ito's manga series. THEY ARE SO FASCINATINGLY TERRIBLE I CAN'T GET ENOUGH. I'm not a fan of horror movies (I HATE SURPRISES AND SCARY SOUND EFFECTS) but horror manga just hooks me.

Hi ... I'm Candice. I'm that awkward, quiet person who tries to lay low but gets caught up in drama anyway. These few months have been kind to me, though -- I am so blessed. I'm 17, from Singapore, and currently a student nurse. I love ... to sing. I can't say I'm good, because 'good' and 'bad' are subjective anyway -- I can say I'm not good enough, though. I just sing because it's what I like to do, and something I can enjoy with other people.

Personality-wise . . . I guess I'm very practical. I'm a little emotionally-detached, so I do whatever is most objective to me. Actually, it's more 'numb' than detached, lmao. It's like I cried everything out in 2008 and now I have no strong emotions left. OH WELL ALL THE BETTER LMAO THOSE USELESS THINGS. It's very, very hard for me to relate and care for people emotionally, but caring for them physically is something I will try to do automatically. I can imagine myself risking my life to save a stranger, but I cannot imagine myself helping someone through an emotional breakdown, lmao.

I'm extremely paranoid. I'm afraid of everything from the dark to aliens to ghosts to unknown diseases to yetis to SPONTANEOUS HUMAN COMBUSTION. I once shedded eyelashes and was so scared because I thought I had cancer. EXCUSE ME, WOMAN . . . YOU ARE KIND OF RIDICULOUS. Despite all my fears, paranormal activity and murders top my interests list. I feel a need to know almost every possible incident that can cause harm to me and the people I love, so I can think up solutions to avoid them.

IT'S JUST A BOTTLE AND HE ACTS LIKE HIS WORLD IS ENDING. Shiro actually 'bit' him to tell him to shut up, lmao. They have this strange thing where Shiro will pretend to bite Bambi and then start licking him IT'S SO STRANGE I SHOULD TAKE A VIDEO ONE DAY.

I took these two days ago, lmao. Bambi was sleeping so strangely that I had to take them. Also, this looks like a couch but it's actually my bed. (tears)

And Shiro just stared, lmao. He does nothing but lie there all day.
