Browsing ihearttv is a bad idea when you're bored, b/c you start finding tons of shows that you always wanted to watch, but just never did.

After the heartbreak of BSG and Prison Break I've been in kinda a quirky mood. I'm becoming more attached to comedies and reality shows, rather than dramas. I decided to check out So You Think You Can Dance? because I've always been more interested in it from what I've seen in the promos, compared to say, American Idol. Anyway, I'm giving it a shot since it just started. Yay!

Legend of the Seeker - Finale Review!

Finally! A review!

So, it appears that there's a lot of debate over this finale. Personally, I thought it was fantastic. Yes yes, there was limited Richard/Kahlan, but there was the overwhelming significance of what she did for Richard. It was extremely painful to watch Kahlan go through that, though. Rahl officially creeped me out more than he ever did before, and my powerful imagination took over quite a few times before I beat it back into the dark corners of my mind and then scrubbed it with Clorox. LOL

I think it was also really difficult to hear Kahlan talking about killing her baby boy, but then the sneaky bastard Rahl forced her emotions and instincts into play, and GAH. Also side note. WTF TOE HEAD CHILD with two brunettes? As if. lol But oh my gosh. Kahlan with toddler!Nicholas.

By the way... The name Nicholas means "victory of the people." I thought that was incredibly interesting, and no doubt Kahlan's doing. ;)

Too bad the kid grew up to be a psychotic maniac. AND FUGLY. He much reminded me of old Vader. LOL Although I have to hand it to him, it was pretty fantastic when he had Rahl knifed through.

Also. CARA OMG!!!!!! PWNAGE! So of course I was all holding my breath to see how well she was cast b/c she's become like one of my favorite characters from the books, and dude, I think she NAILED it. Personally I've always pictured Cara closer to Denna in looks, but her presence and underlying snarkasm, was PERFECT. I'm so flipping excited that they found a good cast, and srsly, they need to take advantage of it and start having her around more next season! WINNNN!

OLD!Shota was AWESOME. Seriously, I loved how she was half mad from age. She's creepy, but incredibly entertaining! I demand more old!Shota!

Richard finding out that Kahlan was "Queen" to Rahl and was dead was possibly my favorite scene out of the whole episode. Craig Horner did a phenomenal job, crashing to his knees. AND THE SINGLE TEAR. GAH. And then later caressing the tomb. HOLY CRAP. THAT RIPPED MY HEART OUT. The emotions were very REAL for me in this episode. It could have not felt that way, considering it moved through so much time in so little footage, but the editing was great, and the actors made it incredibly believable.

And then of course the end scene!

1) I was not expecting to see Rahl die so soon. It just feels like this season has flown by so fast. But still, there is SO much more awesome and adventures, and plenty of more baddies to chase after. This season covered approximately 70% of the first book...of twelve. ;) So I'm fairly excited that they're moving it along.

2) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to have a lot of fun iconning this end scene once I replenish my creative juices. If you were to ask me whether or not I prefer a cliffhanger ending to a peaceful ending, 90% of the time I'll say cliffhanger. But honestly, I don't think I'd make it to November in this particular case. lol

3) I was SO flipping relieved that Kahlan didn't remember any of what happened to her. SO relieved.

4) ZEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN YOU! HE TOTALLY C-BLOCKED THEM. AGAIN!!!! TWICE! ARGGG!

ALSO MAJOR SPOILERY COMMENTS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT READ "WIZARD'S FIRST RULE"

I think Richard is finally at the point where he recognizes that he could never be confessed. I kept waiting for there to be something, or some EVENT that finally drove his understanding and love over the edge. After him witnessing and experiencing what Kahlan did for him, I personally think he understands this, or will come to understand it very soon. Because the fact remains, for him and Kahlan to BE TOGETHER, he has to have NO DOUBTS, NO FEAR, 100% CONFIDENCE that he could never be confessed, because she already OWNS 100% of his soul.

SO YES. NEXT SEASON? BRING ON THE SEXAGE!

Another one for picspammy!

The alarm bell rings throughout the village...
Lucius runs around helping people get their kids inside...

"Lucius is outside walking."
"He's inside safe somewhere! Please! Close the door!"
"He'll come back to make sure we're safe."

"Ivy, please!...Don't let them in!"

"No..."

*cue amazing music and slow motion running pretteh-ness!*

Ivy is left shaking and staring towards the noises above.
Then the camera pans down and she realizes Lucius still holding her hand.

I remember being completely blown away by this sequence the first time I saw it, and it STILL gives me chills. How it cuts from this terrifying moment, to this beautifully peaceful segment when you realize Lucius has her hand and the violin riff starts in and there's slow motion running and GORGEOUS cinematography...

More than that, they SOLIDIFIED this couple's entire love story and relationship with this 30 second scene. Ivy offering her hand out into the darkness, BLIND FAITH. And on top of it all, it put a whole new perspective on her character. It allowed you to step into the mind's eye of a blind character and feel that terror and then safety.

So yes. All of this to say. I LOVE this movie. And Lucius and Ivy are GUH!Amazing.

I love love LOOOVED this scene. It was this moment where all of Jim's emotions from the horrific S3 angst came seeping through. And then he just pauses in the hallway, reliving it for a moment, and then walks straight into the office and kisses Pam senseless. GAH! What was awesome is that you could sense the desperation in his actions, like he was terrified to lose her, and clearly wanted to show her how much he loved her. No more mixed signals.

I also went through all of my communities and edited my membership and reassigned them all to various friends groups in attempts to organize things a little better. Every time I was trying to search for icons, the results were...messy, to say the least. LOL Now everything is shiny. Yay!

TOMORROW. My task will to be have a R/K header by the end of the day. I was hoping that by now fans would be posting graphics like rabid animals and one might randomly pop up on graphic journals, or something. But I think I'm gonna have to cave and just make one myself. LOL

The usual day at the warehouse. Plotting, planning. Headaches. Except this time, Michael's said "I'm fine." one too many times, annnnndddd he's down for the count. *THUD*

Sara is like, "Going to the hospital. My boyfriend. My rules."

Self is all, "Don't you think you're over-reacting?"

Sara is like, "Bitch, I will cut you down if you get in my way. Shut the effing door." *glares*

*AT THE HOSPITAL*

Sara, "My hubby's sick, we don't have insurance, but you'll take him anyways, right? Oh good. Btw, I'm a medical intern."

Michael's all, *dizzy* "I hate hospitals." *pouts*

Sara listens in while Michael reluctantly talks about his mom's history. Aww.

*WAITING*

Michael's all frustrated he can't reach Lincoln.

Sara reminds him his bro's underground. *insert adorable hand touching*

Besides, they'll be fine without him, and is all, "You can't be a control freak all the time."

Michael says, "Ditto." :P

Sara's all supportive, "We can handle this."

Michael's like, "What if I don't want to know." AKA I'm scared shitless.
