One Code, Two Platforms, 200% Efficiency (3/3)
3/3 (for now), we're submitting!
This is the third article in my series on building a cross-platform app for iOS and visionOS.
If you haven’t already, check out the previous article ( 1/3 template choose, 2/3 3D assets ) where I covered how to choose the right project template when starting a cross-platform build and 3D assets management across platforms.
We’re very close to submit the project, and we’re using TestFlight as an example here.
So for an across-platform project like this, and especially for different codes on iOS & visionOS platforms, there are some tricks when submitting the project.
VisionOS supports iOS apps running by default (shown in compatible apps), but if you have extra code for visionOS, you need to submit for these 2 platforms separately.
Select different simulators from your simulator list and archive accordingly.
Just select the right simulators and upload/ archive for each platform. Then go to your App Store Connect/ TestFlight, you should be able to see the versions and select the builds there.
That’s all for the submission.
Will keep updating this series if anything new pops up.
Thanks for reading! See y’all till next time!
