I've been back for almost a week, but I've been super busy and couldn't post. The Congress was great; I made some important contacts. I was invited to write a paper for an academic journal. So I'll be busy in the next days... But I'll be reading you!

Yay, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell on BBC!

BBC One has commissioned a six-part television series based on Susanna Clarke's novel "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell", one of my favourite books ever! The book was optioned for the movies back in 2005, but has never been filmed. The BBC series will be adapted by Peter Harness, produced by Cuba Pictures in association with Feel Film and Farmoor, and directed by Toby Haynes, who directed the Season 2 Sherlock finale, The Reichenbach Fall.
