sigh of relief

Huzzah! Pathology results indicate... there was a lot of hyperplasia (fancy name for overgrowth) but nothing cancerous. Chaz will have to have a uterine biopsy every six months for a few years and get an oestrogen-antogonist implant to lower the risk of cancer deciding to develop, but there is no need for a hysterectomy. *whee* *giddy with relief*

Chaz's good news means we can proceed apace with other plans, namely big change. We've decided to sell the place mom-in-law left us, use some of the funds to fix up our current hacienda and then sell it, too, and get ourselves a new place with the proceeds. Somewhere in a better neighbourhood with more room, air-conditioning and maybe even solar panels.

For now, though, we're both just so relieved I can't even... Nothing else of import to report but will note I am still having lung issues, currently exacerbated by pollen season, *bleah*.
