AU blah blah don't judge
[It's been three years since the Pull disappeared. It didn't take long, of course, for SERO scientists to figure out how to send people home. Even those who were dead were allowed to return. And while many stayed so they could leave the island and inhabit the outside world, Re-l always had other plans. SERO worked with her to find a way for her to simply open doors to other worlds and realities. It took them two years to come up with something adequate that wouldn't give her radiation or damage her body in the crossing. She's spent the rest of the time practicing, visiting, and learning about what other worlds are like.
Of course, she would eventually go to Gotham. And isn't that fun; Batman beating the snot out of criminals with his son, Joker still causing mayhem. Roman Sionis has reclaimed his title as Black Mask. She'll deal with him eventually. But she's got bigger things in mind. She stops in briefly to see Bruce and spend time with him, and then she's off again.
It's a little elaborate but entirely necessary to see him. She lays out a simple contract: collect a young boy being held in a facility and bring the suitcase in one of the offices to her. The latter is full of money, which is the reward he'll get. The boy is bait to get him to take the job...but admittedly, she'd take it herself if he didn't.
She gives him the coordinates of the place to meet her - a condo she's rented outside of Gotham - and just waits. She just hopes he hasn't figured it all out too soon. It'd be a shame to not get to see the surprise on his face. He's never surprised.]
