Privacy remains one of the most difficult challenges in blockchain usability. While several privacy protocols exist, many require complex workflows and slow proof generation, limiting their use in everyday payments. Telos partnered with Protofire to build Telos zkWallet, a privacy-enabled wallet designed to make shielded transactions accessible to a broader audience within the Telos EVM ecosystem. The project delivered a production-ready privacy wallet with cross-platform desktop support (macOS, Windows, Linux) and a full privacy infrastructure stack including smart contracts, ZK circuits, relayer services, and indexing infrastructure. By implementing native Rust-based proof generation, the solution reduced proof latency from typical browser execution times of 15-25 seconds to approximately 3-5 seconds, improving responsiveness by up to 80%. The result is a privacy wallet that enables private transactions on Telos mainnet while maintaining a user experience comparable to standard Web3 wallets.

Building a compliant blockchain settlement platform from MVP to operational infrastructure

Reliable price feeds are a foundational component of any DeFi ecosystem. Without trusted market data, applications such as decentralized exchanges, lending protocols, derivatives markets, and stablecoins cannot operate safely. To support the growing developer ecosystem on Midnight Network, Protofire partnered with DIA to deploy a decentralized oracle infrastructure delivering reliable on-chain price feeds. Within 61 days, Protofire ported DIA's oracle smart contracts to Midnight, deployed automated feeder infrastructure, and launched an operational oracle system supporting 25 asset price feeds, with update cycles of 5-30 seconds and infrastructure designed to scale to 100+ assets. This deployment provides the critical price data layer required for DeFi protocols and data-driven applications to operate securely on Midnight.
