We're updating the rules for becoming a permanent participant in the community since people keep expressing interest in joining us, but we don't want to add anyone that can't fully commit and participate each week! >_< So after talking with a few of the mods, here's what we've come up with (and these rules can be further amended at any time).
New rules:
1. Each participant will have to go through a series of test rounds.
2. You will submit icons for 3 consecutive weekly battles.
3. If you participate in all 3 of those rounds, you will be added as a permanent iconist for the community.
4. If you DO NOT participate in 3 consecutive battles, you will get a second chance to prove to us that you really want to join, but you will start over and have to participate in 3 more consecutive weekly battles, regardless of the number of battles you've already participated in.
5. You MUST participate in the current chaos thread, even when you're doing your test rounds.
If you want to be an MC:
Message the current MC and tell them you would like to participate and want to start your test rounds, and then submit, submit, submit!
Weekly MC:
When you post the icons, include "Round 1," "1," or something similar beside the participant's name so all the mods know that person is doing their test rounds and so we can keep track of how many rounds they have participated in.
