I think for our 'favorite icon' comments of everybody, if you have any suggestions for anybody's iconing / a specific icon, it'd be cool if we left constructive criticism/helpful tips too, like "I think it would be better if you sharpened your image more" or "don't use so many textures because it makes it a little too busy". That way all of us can improve ^_^

so, we don't know where masochist_lover is or if she's joining again, but since she's gone MIA from this project and enchant_meee is on vacation, lovelyable & xinliyoushu are taking over this week's challenge, hoorizzle.

CHALLENGE THEME: NEGATIVE SPACE. this means the subject of your icon can only take up a little bit of the space in your icon (less than half); the rest of the space must be empty and filled with color, subtle textures, tiny text, whatever. i personally think negative space looks best if it's not too busy, but it's up to you :) Each user makes 8 100x100 icons. make it fun, challenge yourself! put the subject off-center, upside-down, whatever.

Anyways, everyone did GREAT on this battle! I heard it was hard from a couple of people, so hopefully you guys don't hate me or anything for this battle lmao D:

So, in this round, masochist_lover is still on haitus and could not post, and xoxoknlove did not have time to finish her icons, so could not submit. My internet has been down/slow this week, and I cannot get my icons to upload so my icons aren't in here either.

My internet has been down for the past week, and I'm currently using someone elses internet - which is SUPER slow, and it's just taking me forever to load the icons and post and whatnot.

i know this falls under no category and is basically spam, but i just wanted to say thank you to everybody for keeping the community working and efficient and awesome. and thank you for pitching in and making this such a great iconbattle :) i know as the creator i kind of am failing this month, mostly because i'm in china and on an unreliable proxy server, but all the same, thanks everybody for stepping up and taking initiative (particularly xinliyoushu and kitty_katz_katz and anybody else i sucked and failed at mentioning who did extra work)!

i will be BACK next month with a vengeance, with a working server in a free country and NO EYE INFECTION that is making my life miserable...
