Season 4 Part 14: End of Days

Raise your hand if you forgot that a story by Jo can take more than a week to read properly (and doubly so, coming up on the titular end, as we are). *sheepishly raises hand* Which is to say, today we're reading End of Days.

1. Last things first. Let's start with the obvious - lots of change, destruction, and uncertainty here. With just one episode left, how much hope can we have for a relatively peaceful resolution?

2. A moment of silence. On that note, there's no hope left for some; this chapter has a lot of death. If you want to share a favorite memory of John or offer up your wishes for Giles' health, now's a good time for it.

3. Time twister. The team faces a weapon we've never seen before, and it's a doozy. Aside from what we saw here, what could be done with a spell that makes people and things get older? Does Angel stand a chance?

4. All together now. Maybe for the first time and definitely for the last time, we see the team gather with all of the recurring PP-exclusive characters. Or at least most of them - can you think of any who were left out? Is there a sense of conclusion with everyone making an appearance, or is there a deeper purpose to look for in this scene?

5. Peshcalo. Amidst all the other action, Alice goes through a great personal change. What, if anything, does her renewal have to do with our heroes' conflicts? Can you see the theme of renewal repeated at all here?

That's all I got for now. Our final story, Ought but Death, is on deck for next week. Get ready, because I think it's safe to say you won't want to miss this one.
