Benoit Chabord posted thisSeeking Django Lead: Greenfield SaaS + Legacy Migration (at least 20h/week) I’m looking for a senior Python/Django contractor to lead the implementation of a new greenfield SaaS project. We are building the successor to a legacy platform that will eventually be decommissioned as we migrate our clients over. This contract is for a minimum of 3 months and can be extended The Stack & Infrastructure: Backend: Modern Python / Django with Postgresql Frontend: Tailwind, HTMX, and django-cotton (component-based UI). DevOps: Already sorted. We’re running on Google Cloud with GitHub Actions for CI/CD. The Workflow & Leadership: Collaboration: You’ll lead the implementation and mentor a Junior Dev on our team, while partnering with me on high-level architecture decisions. AI-Assisted: We embrace AI-assisted technology (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to maintain high velocity, we expect most of the code to be written by code assistant but we are not looking for a vibe coder. Timezone: Requires at least a few hours of overlap with New Zealand (NZT). The Ideal Candidate: You have deep experience in the Django ecosystem and a "keep it simple" philosophy. You are comfortable navigating the transition from legacy logic to greenfield elegance. Experience with Google Cloud, Github Actions is a plus but not a hard requirement. Interested? A lot of time is spent on tooling and AI for coding, I am really trying to solve the exploration of human problems assisted by AI but it is missing a lot here. Here is a Human problem: It is hard to explore human problems and how software solutions can help with those problems. Could we try to create a software solving this problem? Do you know any open source software/framework helping with that? I found this Integration Glue app on the marketplace that allows me to run ChatGPT prompts within a Hubspot workflow and return results to a field. In this PoC, I have ChatGPT acting as a virtual BDR for all inbound leads - it uses the info collected to go out and pre qualify the contact and company for ICP fit, and then does a full discovery run against their website, profile and review sites, and returns the findings, pain points and "winning messages" to a large text field that I then place as a note on the contact record. I have to say - this is pretty slick!

This is a really good watch for any dev that want to understand the difference between a Dev and an Architect from a mental point of view. Even if you don't want to become an architect this can help you when talking to them :)

With this micro app you can use your own Google Maps API key to validate addresses either on a record via a popup with autocomplete or in a workflow using a custom action. That means messy, inconsistent data, leading to delivery issues, inaccurate reporting, and countless hours of repeating the same manual work. That’s where the Google Address Manager by Integration Glue comes in. Populate Address properties, including Lat/Long, in HubSpot from a Workflow.
