Spring possesses good size and a strong feel for the game and that combination has helped him emerge as one of the better point-guard prospects in northern Wisconsin. One of two underclassmen to earn first-team all-Heart O’North Conference honors last season, Springer put up impressive stats for Hayward as he averaged 19.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2.4 steals while helping the Hurricanes to a 16-9 record. He also topped the team with 86 made three-point baskets in 225 attempts for 38 percent.

Caleb is a shooter with size for this Starks Elite 17u team. He’s an active player off the ball, either cutting or running off screens looking for pockets of space to catch and shoot. Springy player who gets into his shot quickly off the catch, or can shake his defender with a shot-fake into a one dribble pull-up from the elbow. He provided the offensive spark his team needed in a tight win over Team 1848 on Saturday.
