Issue with 3rd Column Featured Categories

  noticed something unintended after changing the background color in the featured content boxes (using directions found at this topic link: https://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/topic/changing-the-highlighted-colour-blocks-from-default-sky-blue-to-another-colour?replies=5)

  now, in the third column under featured categories, when I hover over one item, all posts under that featured category respond. clearly not how it’s supposed to work.. how can this be fixed?
