    Hi everyone/anyone,

Before buying the theme photography, they show page with all the galleries instead post.
How can I change to that ?
Or they show images on the side each other.

It sounds easy it think but a bit more complicated :S

    Thanks

    Hey there,

Setting up Photography requires a little bit of work, but once you see how it is set up it should make sense.

First, I would recommend you take a look at the Photography documentation if you haven’t already.

If you’ve looked at that and are still confused, could you give me a link to a page on the demo site that you’re trying to mimic? Thanks!

Thanks so much Andy for reply,

I did find after sending email the few steps to get that result.

My only questions now are, Photography theme is good to “landscapes” photography and not “Portrait” ones.
I am saying that because after organizing gallery the portrait ones get crop and cuts the edges.
Is there any way to set up some gallery otherwise ?

Other question is , the gallery is separate by post and not categories. Is there any way to do them as categories instead post ?

    Regards

    Fabricio

    Hey Fabricio,

Unfortunately, you’re correct – Photography works better for landscape photos. I don’t think there is any way to get around this for your portait photos – they will always have the space on either side to fill in the gaps.

For your galleries question, I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to do. There is no way to group photos by “category” – they need to be associated with a gallery post to be used in Photography. Please forgive me if I’m misunderstanding!

    Hi Andy

I was wondering if you could help me with the slide show on the home page . Is there any way to get rid of the while border around it.

    I have the css upgrade.

    Many Thanks,
    Tom

    Hey Tom,

    Absolutely! Here is the CSS:

    /* Hide homepage frame */
    .fr-home { display: none; }

Let me know if that does it!

    Hi Andy,

Thanks a million, that worked great! If I could ask you another question.

I have a bibliography page where I have articles from publications. I have the authors names and publications in bold, is there a way I could have just this text in a color.

    My blog is http://tomcliment.wordpress.com

    Thanks again ,

    All the best,
    Tom

    Hey Tom,

Glad it worked! Just to be clear – are you trying to change the color of some of your text? Or something else? If you’re looking to change the color, you could try the color chooser in the visual editor:

Let me know if that’s what you’re looking for.

    Hi Andy,

Thanks again, I didn’t know you could do that with the text. Very handy!
    All the best
