3 Problems with image posts
-
Hi everybody,
I have recently discovered the Full Frame theme and was impressed by it immediately. So I set up the blog and wanted to start posting images/gallerys/etc., by the time just for myself to see how it looks like and to get some grip on the theme and wordpress. Here, I encountered three problems:
1. The text is in a white box just below the featured image and not “on” the image as shown in the demo-version of the theme. Maybe there is a different text box to use (with the featured image settings)?
2. The featured image itself is cut in half (height-wise), maybe there is a maximum amount of pixel (or cm?) that a featured image can have to be displayed properly.
3. Even if i chose “left” or “right” for the text position, the text is always centered – which is most useless for most of the images.
Here is the preview I created: https://photonautics.wordpress.com/?p=17&preview=true
And this is the blog: photonautics.wordpress.com
I have read tutorials of both wordpress and the authors of the theme, but none seemed to be helpful. I also walked through many of the posts here, but nothing was particularly useful to me (I am a novice to blogging and an absolute beginner if not less to CSS, HTML, etc.), but if there is a solution already here, please point me to it.
Needless to say, but the demo-version was so impressive that I want exactly that.
I appreciate any help.

Hi hobotnicapeka,
Can you please create some posts and post it in live in your site so I can check?
Here is how the demo is set up. Demo homepage uses “Posts” not pages, so if you are trying to use a Static Homepage (Settings -> Reading), that will not show the page as in demo.
The text align and the “text over image” only appears on the Homepage and archive pages setup in the above way, not static homepage again, so they won’t work on single posts and single pages. Single posts will look like this: http://fullframedemo.wordpress.com/2013/03/19/aurora-borealis/ Notice the image is also cropped on the top/bottom. If you are really concerned about this issue, you can use css to change the way image shows up. But there are other cons to this approach.
In any case, please make your posts public and post the specific URL of the pages you are having issue with and I will help you solve that issue and make things look like in the demo.
Thanks,

Dear Chandra,
I have been very much mistaken and misunderstood the theme completely. What I have seen in previews is the single post, but what I wanted was simply the homepage where, of course, everything looks like in the demo-version. A novice appologizes :-).
All the best
