Program is horrible. Lose your hard drive or say if your computer got stolen, Vcom support does not address your issue. You have to buy another copy. After buying 3 licenses of the years, I am done with VCom.
I still use Powerdesk 6 in Windows 10 pro and it functions just as good through all the other the Windows updates, etc. It does not lock up or malfunction at all. It rather depends on how you use it. Some people seem to want all the newer versions and expect it to function as a foregone conclusion. My system drives are all SSD for speed and version 6 does exactly what I expect it to. If you must have Powerdesk versions 7 through 9 then what is the specification of your system that demands it to work without dropping out?
I Love Powerdesk. I've used it since it first came out. I am disappointed in version 8 and 9, they lock up all the time. Still, it is the best program out there.
8.5 version is worse than the last one and I tried v9 and it is even worse so I uninstalled it.
