About me
A bit about me
I'm Kris, a software engineer with a passion for building complex systems and solving problems myself, whether that's a Chrome extension to highlight and add events to Google Calendar or a homelab to avoid hosting fees.
Lately, I've been researching the intersection of robotics and language models, specifically how autonomous systems can use AI to understand and execute real-world tasks. I'm currently building an ML fine-tuning pipeline as the foundation for that.
Outside of that, I'm into astronomy (more specifically, celestial bodies and black holes), video games, rock climbing, and self-hosting. If there's a way to self-host something, I'm going to try it.

Calighter
A Chrome extension that converts highlighted text into Google Calendar events using fully local NLP inference, no data ever leaves your machine. Fine-tuned a MiniLM model for event and location extraction, deployed in-browser via ONNX Runtime Web with 8-bit quantization and Google Calendar OAuth integration
-
VEGA
A multi-agent AI platform built on Google ADK with 30+ personas for video analytics. Leverages A2A protocol for parallel persona execution with schema validation and retries, aggregating insights into dynamic engagement reports.

krmed.cloud
A self-hosted K3S cluster across 3 Raspberry Pis, zero cloud dependency, zero open ports. ArgoCD with auto-sync and self-heal manages all workloads as code; Cloudflare Tunnel handles all inbound routing. CI/CD enforces Kustomize manifest validation, kubeconform schema checks, Trivy image and config scanning, and gitleaks secret detection before any merge. Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager provide full observability with push alerts via ntfy.
