PopTools is an add-in for 32 bit PC versions of Microsoft Excel (version 97 and up) that helps with the analysis of matrix population models and simulation of stochastic processes.

It was originally written to analyse ecological models, but has much broader application. It has been used for studies of population dynamics, financial modelling, risk analysis, and calculation of bootstrap and resampling statistics.

Thank you very much for sharing this valuable tool. But unfortunately, my excel is incompatible with the software. Hope you can update the version, I need it in linguistic simulation. Thanks a lot.

I love poptools. I'm hoping they make a version for Excel 64 bit.

PopTools is a useful and practical tool for Excel! I use it in my Population Ecology classes.
