What an article Scott!

I think you've alluded to something quite common in any democratic system, be that here among us Aussies, or even across the Pacific in the United States.

What can really shift the vote in an election is trust. That is, the public's trust in either party to be stewards of the economy.

And the Coalition hasn't controlled this narrative like during the Menzies Era; with a terrible articulation of policies like nuclear in the last election, there was no way they would get the popular mandate.

If the Coalition ever wants to get back into power, they have to seize on this narrative and deliver.
