The Pattern game requires players to recreate a given figure with rubber bands. You do this by manipulating the rubber band with your mouse or by tapping on the screen. The game simulates actual stretching of rubber. So expect to take time figuring out which direction the rubber can move. Like in real life, the band has its limits. Depending on the difficulty of the figure, you’ll have to apply trial and error to solve a level. The latter levels will really challenge you to come up with creative solutions. So keep experimenting with moves.

The game does not impose time limits or a specific number of moves. You can even undo a move or reset the level as you please. This way, you can take time to solve the puzzle as long as you need. When you complete a level, the game saves it so you can pick up where you left. Solving these puzzles can get easily addicting.

This game mimics the real-life challenge of forming shapes with rubber bands. Your goal is to mimic the shape provided on the template using rubber bands and pegs. The game is easy to get into once you get the hang of the controls. Because they're based on rubber bands, lines have a limited range of motion. You must feel around to find out which direction they could go before placing them in. To remove a peg, you can press the undo button.

Pattern is an easy yet fun game to get into. The rules are simple enough to remember and the first few shapes are easy to figure out. The game provides more challenges as it goes on, some of which may defy your initial assumptions. Unconventional thinking is the key to solving many of the later puzzles. The key to making the figure may involve pulling the band in a way you didn't think of before.
