So no work for me today. Normally I work Fridays, but lately, it has been so slow, they said there was no need. I only made 16 bucks yesterday, but that was in 2 hours, so add that on to my 3 something an hour, not too bad. Just not enough money either :-p Luckily James makes great money, so whatever I make just helps us out for now.
Saturday will be hectic though. I have to work here from 10-2 (though they may need me to stay later if they get busy, only one other server is scheduled and it is memorial day weekend). I have to be in St. Louis for another event I am working at with the catering company by 4:30 PM. They said it will last until 9:30 or so, but last time, it was an hour alter then they said, so I am counting on it to possibly go longer. It is an event serving 400 or so people! Crazy.
I visited my family last night, and right as I considered coming home, I got this shooting pain in my eye. Of course, my mom was worried, so I stayed there until it went away around 1:30 AM. My cousin came down and visited too.
My grades for the semester were like this:
Political Science: B
Modern Western Civilizations: A
Early American Literature: A
MIS Senior Capstone: A
Strategic Management: A
Corporate Finance II (for my finacial economics minor): A
So not too bad. It sucks about Political Science since I should have gotten an A, I just slacked on one freaking test. Oh well, I am aiming for a 4.0 in graduate school at least :)
Speaking of which, here is my schedule at Clemson so far. This may change, because I am probably exempt from one of the MBA courses since I have a finance minor (it is there for non-business students) and I will take an elective in it's place. It sucks because the MBA department won't let me get into it anyway, and I am still required to sign up for it, but since I am not a business administration student, it won't let me in right now. I need to e-mail my advisor and tell him.
What the classcodes mean:
CRP- city and regional planning (I believe)
RED- Real Estate Development
MBA- Masters of Business Administration
So here goes:
CRP 602: Human Settlement- 9:05-9:55 MWF
CRP 802: Site planning- 10:10-11:00 MW
CRP 802: Site planning lab: 10:10-11:00 F and 11:15-12:05 MW
MBA 836: Real Estate Principles- 4:00-5:15 PM MW
RED 800: Real Estate Development (sort of an intro to real estate development): 5:45-7:00PM MW
So no tuesday/thursday classes at all, which means one my three day weekends, I actually get 4 day weekends and plan on flying home (I have Labor day and Fall break, then it lets me come home sooner for Thanksgiving too). The following semester, I should have no friday classes. I am a little worried about my lab class, though the rest of them, I should do fine in. My accounting and finance course is not listed here, and an elective wil ltake its place. If I cannot find a good elective that still lets me have T/TH off, I may just take the accounting and finance class. Would be easy for me since I have such a strong finance background already.
Well sorry for the long entry, I have some stuff I need to do today, so I better get on it. It is almost 1 PM already, geez, where has the day gone?
