Dentist is stumped, so I'm scheduled to see an oral surgeon. If they can't figure it out, I'm off to see an ear, nose and throat doctor. It doesn't appear to be an infection in my teeth unless the antibiotic from a few weeks ago took care of it. Nothing can ever be easy with my medical stuff, I swear. The bookstore won't be happy... I have to request specific days off during rush. I never ask for days off or for them to work around my schedule, so hopefully it won't be a problem.
Also, as suspected, my filling is cracked. No wonder I'm in such pain on that side of my face. That's a second appointment scheduled during rush.
I ended up walking all the way to the dentist because I messed up the bus times and I'd get there faster by walking. It wasn't bad, just hot. This is why I've lost 25 pounds. I now walk everywhere since I don't have a car. I took the bus home since it was just too hot, though I still have to walk half a mile from the bus stop, so yay exercise.
Also, the dentist's office was playing The Secret Garden which made me happy to sit in the waiting room. I liked the movie as a kid, and it ( along with A Little Princess) were two of my favorite books growing up. I almost didn't want them to call me back. I forgot so much about the movie, it's been at least a decade, if not more, since I watched it. I need to remedy that.
Office was nice. I liked the dentist and staff, which is good. I'm always scared of picking a bad medical professional. My last dentist was really nice and not bad on the eyes, but he was also a terrible dentist. He filed down a perfectly good tooth for no reason, causing it to hurt ever since. So needless to say, I'm nervous when picking a dentist.
Taking Miss Kitty to the vet this evening when Kevin gets home. I'm also nervous anytime I can't get to my preferred vet in Costa Mesa. We're not going back to the place that screwed up with Annabelle, but trying a new place. *fingers crossed* they don't suck.
I'm desperately in need of a nap, but I have work to do. Still, I wonder how productive I'll be right now. If only I could take a quick nap... But the Lexapro often makes me lose hours at a time.
