another novel by Kristen LOL
Sorry for not getting back to everyones comments right away, I shall try to do that tomorrow (or actually later today). It has been busy for me, but in a good way mostly.
Last night, James and I took a date night. We went to Jefferson City, with plans to eat dinner and see a movie. We went to dinner at El Jimador, a Mexican place I love. But instead of seeing a movie, we went car shopping since we are trying to find a second car for this summer, and for when I move. Something affordable, but decent. We ended up test driving a 2005 Hyundai (sorry if I spelled that wrong) Tiburon. It had hail damage, but only 18,000 miles. I fell in love. They still wanted more then we could afford really, but it was nice. I also saw a brand new one in purple. I told James I till have to have one someday, since I want to own a purple sporty car someday.
We went to his moms house and visited her since she gets depressed if her kids don't visit often. It was weird, out of the blue, she announces "I had a pregnancy scare last month." and the room got silent. Like, where did that come from? She is nearly 50, so it would not be a good thing for her health and wellbeing. James later told me he felt weird just hearing her talk about it, which I can see. My mom has always been open about that sort of thing, his mom is not at all. Plus, it was out of the blue too, not like we were discussing pregnancy's or anything at all.
Today, I got my new cell phone finally. They got it in. It is the Samsung Sync, and I got it in red :) I also got a ringtone maker and already made some cool ringtones. I love it. Apparently, my mom called James last night, and wanted to go in on buying me a Blackberry since I would honestly love to have one, but figured it was too expensive. I thought that was sweet considering my mom does not have the money to do something like that. The thought meant a lot to me, glad she didn't though, they could not afford to do it. She could use that money for more important things.
Also, sad news, my sister's horse is to be taken away tomorrow. She is old, and apparently, she is slowly dying of old age. A man wants to take her that can give her a comfortable life, and also he has the knowledge to care for her. He also has medicine to euthanize her at the end, so she will not be in pain. My sister is really upset. She loves this horse, and took such good care of the old girl. Her jerk boyfriend is telling her the guy told him that he is going to take the horse and shoot it in the head right away, exactly the opposite of what he told everyone else. He does this sort of crap to get a rise out of her, and of course, when my mom and I visited, she was in tears, while he was yelling about how the man was just going to kill her and crap. The kids were upset and everything. What benefit would this man get out of hauling the horse all the way to his property (not an easy feat) to just shoot her in the head and have to find a place to bury this large animal? Plus, why would he seem to caring to my sister, telling her all these things, even that she can bring the kids out to see her if he happens to get her feeling better. He said they are welcomed to visit her anytime. Why would he say that if he wanted to shoot her in the head first thing Sunday morning?
On a better note, James also took me to the new restaurant in town, Matt's Steakhouse. The food was pretty good, and the place was beautiful. The name doesn't sound fancy, but the place had this huge open fireplace that had waterfalls cascading down all sides of it. Very neat.
Anyways, this has gotten longer then I planned. I need sleep. It is 3:30 in the morning, I was at my mom's until about an hour ago. We stayed up talking as we usually end up doing whenever I visit. I will try to get back to everyone tomorrow. I also have a 12 page paper to write and a project to work on.
