Wedding stuff
I also wanted to update with some happier news, so I kept this seperate. Wedding plans!
In other news, James and I have a wedding date in mind. It works with everything we want. He had to ask his mom because it would be her birthday, but also St. Pats day! March 17, 2008. However, it is a Monday I believe, and she didn't like that. I say go for it, it is cheaper on a weekday then a weekend. I love St. Pats Day, and 17 is my lucky number (I am slightly obsessed with it if you can't tell by my username lol). Nothing is set in stone yet, but looks like March 17, 2008 just might be it. His brother should be able to make it, he doesn't ship out until April. I should be on spring break from Clemson too. Only problem is finding a location. James and I will be living in Clemson, SC by then. I really do not want to have my wedding in Missouri since I want it to be outdoors, and the MO weather sucks and it could be snowing still in March. Plus, I do not want to fly in to my own wedding. My dream would be to get married in Charleston, SC, on the beach, but then all our guests have to come there. Probably keep it small. I am just not sure how to get my family out there, there are too many of them for one vehicle, for that long. Plus, the kids would have to miss school for a week almost. I wish we could fly them out, but my mom is deathly afraid of flying and will not do so. So tough decision to make there...
Speaking of flying, I always had this memory of visiting the airport and watching the planes take off. I never could place it, since I knew my mom would never fly. When I mentioned my love of watching planes, she asked me if I remembered when my dad used to take me to the airport and watch the planes. Now it all makes sense. Another great memory of my father...which is one of few since I was only 4 when he died.
