Home Sweet Home

I am finally back home. We got in late last night and fell asleep right away because we only got 3 hours of sleep before driving the 15 hours back home. Crazy, huh? I thought so too and I complained, but it was his dad's doing. But we made it back safetly. I kept James awake in my very unique way, and well, I just may have something for my more personal journal now :)

It was an amazing trip. The drive really seemed to fly by, but James and I had fun with it so that is probably why. Let's just say, he is awesome at multi-tasking lol.

It felt weird when we got in St. Louis. It was like, are we really almost home? We stopped to get gas and some food, and it almost seemed like any other stop along the way, but we were home. It was strange. We drove the rest of the way home and even now, it feels strange.

Oh, and for some reason, I woke up at 8:30 this morning and could not sleep, even after getting back super late and my cat waking me up every 15 minutes by showing me she missed me. I am tired now of course, but I have my undergraduate research paper due on Monday and James and are going to spend some time together the rest of the weekend, so I need to spend all day working on it.

I will get back to everyones comments later. I may take a nap afterall. I doubt I can be productive like this. I wanted to post a DITL, but did not get home in time to do so :( However, I will try to get time to post the pics up here in my journal at the very least. I also want to post a map of our trip. On the way there, we went through Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. Then we went back through North Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C and made it to Annapolis, Maryland. On our way home, it was Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. So 14 states all together, and we went through many cities. Very exciting. I also saw the mountains, which were beautiful.

Well, I am going to go, try to get some sleep perhaps for at least another hour. James went to St. Louis to do more work. Oh, by the way, he is getting paid about $950 just for the Maryland job, and his dad bought all the gas, paid for the hotel, and all our meals. Cannot beat that for a nice vacation! That was two nights and drive time that he is getting paid for, and we had a great time. Awesome. We could really use the money.

Now I am going. I also have something I might discuss later, something I came across and not sure what to do about it. Talk about that later though, unless I just decide to mind my own business and leave everything be.
