The last few days...
The last few days have been interesting. I figured I could write a little something.
Thursday night, I had an alcohol awareness seminar to attend, just a risk management event they make all Greeks go to once a year. James came with me, it was actually really good. The speaker was wonderful. I am not a big drinker anymore, but he presented everything in a fun way, even making it funny at times, which keeping it serious. James and I went bowling with Brandy and Justin after that. It is nice to hang out with people again, especially my old high school friends. I am not a hige bowling fan, but we played 3 or 4 games, and I didn't suck too badly. It was a good time.
James had an interview out in the middle of nowhere, like 3 hours away, for a possible summer position. He had to leave at 5 AM to get there, and we got to bed late the night before. When he came home, he crashed, missing his lab and everything. He didn't plan on taking it, it is too far and no way I am moving to the middle of nowhere Missouri for the summer. It is bad enough where we are now. Anyways, after he woke up around 5 PM, he wanted to do something, so we randomly drove to St. Louis and went to the casino. I enjoy playing Craps actually, now that I know how to. We won some money (started with about $60, $30 for each of us, and ended up with close to $300. so we got lucky :) We drove home after midnight and it was so foggy, you could hardly see in fromt of you. I have never seen it so bad, it was creepy. Reminded me of a horror movie LOL
Today is a nice day, so we may go to my moms house and James wants to help with my sisters house. She needs some work done. I may jump on the trampoline, that sounds like a good thing to do today :)
By the way, I have lost 10 pounds in the last few weeks! It is so exciting, and I am hardly even trying.
Well James is getting out of the shower, better get out of my Pj's. It has been a lazy day today so far and I love it.
