I've read pretty far back on my flist, but couldn't comment on everything. I also couldn't read all the way back yet. I'm likely going to start fresh from today. If there is something big I've missed, link me to it or tell me about it. I'll be happy to comment or whatever as needed. I wasn't in a computer for my entire vacation and barely played on my phone. Which is what I needed to do to spend time with people :)

I'll be commenting more now that I'm back. Thanks for keeping me everyone!

People keep asking how I hurt myself. I'll explain really quickly.

At the City Museum (the really cool place where you climb and play on really big pieces of recycled artwork, photos to come), I had just gotten off this slide where you climb up on it by a rope handing down (it's steep). My nephew was already running back up and I turned to Kevin to laugh about how much energy he had....

That part took hours to remember, and I still don't know what happened next. It's foggy. I think I went to step over this bench thing and somehow missed the step, instead falling over it. How I hit? I have no idea. My chin and bottom lip are hurt the most, making me think I hit the bottom of my face first. My nose appears to have hit something else, maybe a corner of a concrete step or something. My right arm has road rash from trying to catch myself. My left knee and shin must have hit the metal bench as I went over it. Otherwise, I can't remember. I just remover the crunch as my face hit the concrete and not sure how I got there, but I knew it wasn't good. I was out of it afterward too. I was dizzy and fell in to Kevin, trying to hide my face in to his shirt (who knows why) and saying "this isn't good" and "I'm worried about my head" and "I'm scared". The world was spinning around me and it's still a blur.

I knew the bench was there.... There's a walkway or you can climb over the bench area. I don't remember stepping up, but to get over it, I had to have done something. None of it makes sense. I just remember being on the ground expecting severe pain and never feeling it. All I felt was gushing blood.

I'd hit my head countless times because this place is not one of those padded little playgrounds. You should know going in that getting hurt is an option. My brother is scraped up from climbing around. My youngest niece fell backward once on a sloping ramp you run up. We saw a woman fall on the ramp earlier.

But I didn't get hurt on the attractions, noooooo. I get hurt walking. On the ground. At the bottom of the slide. I tripped over a bench. Pretty boring considering there are many more exciting ways to bust up your face there... And I merely tripped over a giant bench that didn't magically appear in my way or anything.

I'm a genius :p

Thanks for all the good, healing thoughts. So far, so good. I Look bad, and likely will for awhile. But I think I'm healing up just fine. Only one tooth feels loose anymore, hopefully that tightens up like the other did. If so, and if there are no brain injuries, I should be okay. That's all that worried me when it happened :)
