Thank you all for the birthday wishes! We've been going, going, going for the last few days. I was so exhausted today that I fell asleep in the car and we took a nap (Kevin is still sleeping). Once I get home, I'll be reading and commenting again. I just don't have a computer here and I'm visiting family :)

Project eat all the food is already giving me a tummy ache. I feel sick today. We had Steak and Shake (cheese fries and chili. Yum) and then found the gooey butter cake place I'd read about and got two cakes (peanut butter chocolate and a regular one). Gooey butter cake is a St. Louis thing. I didn't know it was local until recently and had to introduce Kevin. I had only had an original kind until today.

Birthday cake last night.... Junk food all around... My stomach is revolting and asking WTF am I doing to it. I've eaten so healthy for so long.... And wham!

Well I need to wake Kevin up. Napping was nice. We are staying at my niece's apartment right now, may go camping tonight. Kevin is so fascinated with how rural we are. It's cute.

My nephew (who's very shy) opened up to Kevin yesterday. On the first night, he his (he's likely a high functioning autistic as is most of my family). He told Samantha, "I have never met him (Kevin) before".

Last night he told my sister, "I really like him now that I know him!"

It's going well I think. This weekend will be full but fun. Lots of adventures to go on still :)
