LJ Idol Season 8: Week 36; Current Events
Walking into the closest 7-11, I briefly scanned the area. I had no other choice.
Noticing the girl behind the counter reading a magazine, I stepped up to her. I pulled out my gun. She noticed me instantly and threw her hands in the air with a scream.
"Give me all the cash you have. And now.” My voice wavered as I spoke.
Opening up her till, she threw the bills in my direction.
"$54, bitch? Really?”
"We have to drop the money in the safe! I have no access to it, I swear!” She cried out, tears streaming down her face.
"Fuck!” I slammed my hands down on the counter, momentarily forgetting the gun in my hand which went off with a loud bang. I heard a shriek of pain and saw the girl holding a gaping hole in her chest. Blood seeped out between her fingers as she collapsed to the floor.
My heart raced. I’d never meant to kill anyone! Not knowing what to do next, I made a run for it. Out the door, and past a man talking on his cell phone coming inside. I heard him yell for help and I knew it was only a matter of minutes.
If only I had a way to disguise my appearance. A change of clothes, a hat. Something.
I really hadn’t thought this out very well.
I made it to an alleyway. Sirens all around, unsure of where I could go, I knew I had to hide. But he found me.
He said he could help me. He said that I’d never have to worry about being caught for doing anything bad again, the cops would never be able to find me.
When I asked him the price, he said my debts had already been paid to his boss, and would likely continue to be paid through my deeds. I didn’t know what that meant, I just considered myself lucky.
He promised me that no one would recognize me anymore. I felt some tingling all over, and I noticed my clothes had changed from my old t-shirt and jeans to a polo shirt and cargo shorts.
At least this might provide me a little cover, I thought to myself. I wasn’t so sure, so I did my best to stick to the dark alleys until I had to step out into the open.
A cop car, siren blaring, flew past me toward the direction of the store. I bolted toward my building and into my apartment.
I looked at the time. It was past midnight, and Tammy would be in bed already. I walked down the hallway and into the room where she was curled up in bed wearing nothing but one of my old t-shirts and her panties, looking sexy as ever. Sliding in beside her, I started softly kissing her neck and let my hands wander down into her panties. Her moans of pleasure reassured me that she liked what I was doing, so I continued with my fingers and turned her face toward mine to kiss her.
Her eyes opened to meet mine as our lips met, they grew wide and a scream escaped her mouth as her fist pounded hard into my chest.
"Who the fuck are you?” She fought to get out of the other side of the bed and reached for the baseball bat.
"Tammy, honey! It’s me! It’s Devin!” I was perplexed at why she was reacting this way. Had she been drinking?
"Get the fuck out now or I will beat your sorry ass to death!”
I knew this girl had a temper to match the red hair; I also knew she was violent as hell and probably could beat my sorry ass to death. Slowly, I stood up, both hands up in the air.
"Listen... I can explain...”
"There’s nothing to explain. If you don’t leave now, I will let my bat do all the talking!” She swung it clumsily in my direction, nearly taking out the lamp beside the bed.
She came toward me and I knew she was serious.
I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror on the opposite wall. My scraggly blonde hair was now brown and more clean cut than I’ve ever had it before. My skin was darker as if I’d tanned recently, my eyes were no longer my own, my nose was wider and foreign to me. I saw a stranger in the mirror and could finally see why Tammy didn’t recognize me.
Stepping out of the bedroom and backing down the hall, Tammy and her bat close behind, I made my way to the front door and back outside. She slammed it shut behind me, locking all the locks and I could already hear her screaming into the phone, probably to the police. As I listened to her screaming, I felt a strange tingling in my body.
I felt the hair growing in my scalp, touching my shoulders. I noticed that it’s now chocolate brown with a bit of curl at the end. A more feminine hairstyle, I thought...
I looked down at my hands... Dainty with long, perfectly manicured nails. My body, transformed within moments, my previously manly chest was replaced with a pair of tits. I had curves. The outfit I was wearing had even changed along with my newly formed body and I found myself in a slinky red dress and heels.
I tried to make my way down the hallway, just as the first police officers started to arrive. Rushing past me, one of them stopped for a second giving me an odd smile, "Be careful miss, there’s a pervert on the loose.”
I grabbed the banister in hold myself up, totally unsteady on my high heels, "Thank you, officer.”
His eyes gave me a lusty once over before his partner pulled him back to the job.
Freaking out and unable to breathe in the body-hugging dress, I didn’t know what to do. I walked down the hallway and out the apartment door, stepping into the cool night air.
Having nowhere to go and only the $50 I’d stolen earlier in the day, I sat in the park. Too afraid to fall asleep, since being a woman now made me vulnerable to any number of attacks, I just sat there until I saw the sun creeping over the horizon.
But having an entrepreneurial spirit, I saw an opportunity in all this mess.
Still having the pistol I took with me to the robbery, I slipped my high heels into my bag so I wouldn’t trip. I made my way into the first bank I found.
I waited in line, eventually getting to the teller where I demanded all their money. I pulled out the gun and they took me seriously. I looked right up into the security camera, giving it the finger before I shot it out drawing terrified screams from the bank’s patrons.
The teller handed me what she had in her till, eyes wide as the camera bits rained down on her.
"Here you go... It’s all I have!”
Not wanting to kill anyone, I took what she gave me and jammed it into my bag and ran out the door as sirens filled the air around me.
As I stepped outside and stood in the parking lot between two cars, I felt the shift once more. Pulling the compact mirror from my bag, I watched this time as my delicate nose and blue eyes transformed into a broader, more masculine face once again. The shape of my eyes went from a soft almond shape to something more narrow. My hair was now short and black and I was no longer a Caucasian female.
My slinky red dress had been replaced with a tidy business suit; my purse became a briefcase. I slipped the gun inside and checked. The money was still there. I walked out through the parking lot without anyone giving me a second glance.
Not a single cop looked at me twice as I weaved my way through the crowd of people and out the other side to my freedom.
I could really get used to this, I thought to myself with a smile.
