Update. Hopefully the last you'll hear of me today, huh? :P

Well I know not everyone was in agreement, but I got an e-mail from the new job asking if I could start in two weeks. I could have asked them to move the date a week later... but I decided that's just making things difficult.

So I submitted my resignation letter to my boss through e-mail since there's no way I could have made it in to see him and I know he's going to be on the road all day tomorrow. There are weeks I don't see him except on Monday, so with this bad timing... and the new place wanting me to start in exactly two weeks... I figured e-mailing was better than not telling him until I could see him in person. I explained that I had wanted to talk to him in person but that this emergency made that difficult and I felt telling him via e-mail was better than waiting and giving him insufficient notice.

Now I just sit and wait to see if he responds or find out how people will react tomorrow. I do worry about having to leave Annabelle tomorrow, I can't ask for it off after resigning after all. But hopefully if anything, I can crate her tomorrow without the cone (as her cone doesn't fit in the crate) or take her to the vet just to board her for the day or something so I know she's fine. Though getting her into the car may not be possible even then. GRRR things need to chill the heck out.

Too much going on at once. My world is spinning and I need it to slow down :P
