Holiday Wishlist
Once again, I participated in the
holiday_wishes community. My post is below. Please feel free to link me to your holiday wishlist if you have one, I'd love to see what I could grant for you!
Thanks!
1) Surprise me! I love getting stuff from all over the world, that’s usually the best part of this game. I love candy and food that I can’t get here, but show me what’s unique about your town, state or country... I’d love to see it! I love getting packages in the mail :)
2) Ikea gift cards. That’s probably a stretch... But it’s a wish list, right? I really want to buy a bed, my mattress is just sitting on the floor at the moment. I want a bed so badly, it's not even funny. I want my bedroom to actually look like a real room and not a bland jail cell. I really want to make this place feel like home.
3) Clothes! I am fine with gently used clothing, I am just in desperate need of clothes. I pretty much living paycheck to paycheck, and while I’d like to have nice work clothes, I can’t afford it. I need casual clothes too, especially tennis shoes. Used is more than fine! I am a size 6/8, but sometimes wear a 10. Large or extra large tops because I am blessed in the chest. I especially love cute dresses and skirts, but I am not picky.
4) Clothing store gift cards, I’m not picky, even Target works for me. I don't wear high end designer clothing or anything, just whatever fits and looks cute. If you have any gift cards you don’t plan on using, even if it has a few dollars on it, feel free to send it my way. See above about clothing dilemma. (Kohl's, TJ Maxx, Ross Dress For Less, Target, Old Navy... anything really... I'm not picky.)
5) Petsmart gift cards so I could spoil my babies. My dog needs expensive, durable toys since she can devour most of the cheap ones. People that know me know that I absolutely adore my pets and would love to get them something too!
6) Baking stuff! I love to bake but have very few items. I’d especially like cookbooks or cupcake decorating books! I have recently discovered I love baking from scratch, and I want to do more of it. (I'm in need of a casserole dish pretty badly too)
7) Amazon wishlist. Used is fine when it comes to books and movies. I really don't have a lot on here, but I figure, why not? http://amzn.com/w/3I3G7U99CQHD1
8) Books! Especially true crime and creepy books (true horror stories especially). Anthologies of different stories are greatly appreciated too!
9) Donate money to my family. Long story short, my family has always been really poor. I grew up in poverty where we didn’t even have heat in the winter time (and we lived in the Midwest). My family home burned down a couple years ago and my step-dad lost his job and couldn’t find work. Their unemployment has run out and they have no income whatsoever at this moment. My mom is a great person, she’s taken in people that have fallen on hard times my entire life and she’s currently taking care of my sister and her three kids as well. I wish I could help more, but I barely scrape by on my own. They have a paypal account and the e-mail is justebay12@yahoo.com (my mom used to have her own ebay store where she sold all the kids old clothing).
10) Donate items to my family. I know money is tight for everyone, but items also help them out. They seriously have had trouble getting shampoo and soap, so even cheap products like that would help. Or toys/clothes for the kids (used is fine). Pretty much any thing you might take for granted, they would appreciate. (My family consists of my mom, my step-dad, my 17 year old brother, my 19 year old niece, my 13 year old niece, my 8 year old nephew and my sister). I am going to help my family set up a wishlist of their own hopefully... But I can also send any information to you from my end as well. I would love it if they got some care packages out of this too since my greatest wish in life is for them to be happy and healthy. Those kids are my entire world.
