More stuff from me? HOLY COW!

Sorry, I am posty tonight...but so much to say since I have been slacking.

So guess who's going to Vegas in two weeks? Yep, that would be me! I asked for the Friday off and I leave Thursday night and shall be meeting java_fiend who will already be there for work. He will be working most of the time, but hopefully we can sneak some time in Friday to play around Vegas a bit. I have been there once before on a convention trip in grad school. It's a fun place, but I never got to see the shows.

Which reminds me, I need to look into that! Though we may not get any time to see an actual show, I might check into it...So many I want to see!

Oh but I also have to teach java_fiend how to play Craps, the only casino game I really play and enjoy (I have taught many a girl how to play it, I am sure he can learn to). And of course, I will get to see the Bellagio Fountains this time hopefully! It's something I have always wanted to see and no one would go with me when I went for the convention. So much fun crammed into such little time, but I am sure we will go back again.

I just can't wait for this little mini-vacation! Most of my other vacations have been to visit family. We had one overnight trip to San Diego a bit ago that was lovely. And of course, the road trip out here but then again, we barely knew each other.

So yay for vacations together! Especially since it also happens to be the anniversary of our first meeting. Yep. July 25th actually, but that's a Monday. It'll be a year since that fateful day at Orange County airport when I hid behind the pole and he had to search for me. A year since we went to the Balboa Peninsula and ate corn dogs and funnel cakes, while riding the Ferris Wheel that scared my poor sweetie to death. A year since we first hugged each other.

Wow. A year goes by fast. That is still one of the best memories EVER. It's also been one of the best years ever too. Seriously, this is the best relationship I have ever been in and I am constantly amazed at how great things are for us.

A weekend in Vegas will be a great way to celebrate I think. A long weekend together will be fun :)
