This weeks entries.

So once more, I am going to tell you all a bit about the awesome entries this week at therealljidol. Sick of me yet? I sure hope not. I like promoting the awesome writers that are thisclose to the Top 10. I know most would love to find new people reading and commenting on their stuff, so don't be afraid.

Let's get to it then (as usual, I suck at HTML and always get errors when I do lots of them, so for my sanity's sake, no HTML if I can help it. Okay?) :)

amenquohi wrote about how she's almost divorced and just not used to getting hit on by younger men. A very good story that will make you giggle a bit and totally relate to her experience.

My sweetie, java_fiend, wrote a really emotional true piece this week. He talks about his ups and downs and not being able to comfortably talk about your feelings. He also talks about how he's working on changing all that. As someone who loves him very much, I loved this piece and love the strides he's making every day to realize just how lovable and wonderful he really is.

joeymichaels wrote a tearjerker. Yes, I seriously sobbed like a baby. Anyone who has ever lost a beloved pet, or even if you just adore your babies like I do, will appreciate this fine story.

hosticle_fifer wrote about his real life love story, quirks and all. It is sure to put a smile on your face and make you feel all mushy and gooey inside. Unless you hate love of course...and then umm that's sad.

serpentpixie wrote a really thoughtful thinking exercise of sorts. This is one where even reading the comments are super cool since it's fun to see how other people answer the question at the end!

vaguelyclear wrote an amazing fictional piece about a man that had nothing left to lose...and well, I can't give too much away or else you know what happens. Just know that it's GREAT.

yachiru wrote a sarcastic and humorous version of The Wizard of Oz. It's certainly totally different and fun!

alephz wrote an awesome and dark tale of the Alligator King and how he meets his demise.

My good pal mstrobel wrote a heartbreaking piece about a friend and the overreaction that just tore her apart. Very thought provoking post.

And well I believe I am pixiebelle last time I checked and my entry is next. I wrote a fictional tale, a fairy tale of sorts, that I hope to broaden and make into something bigger. I also wrote with a partner for fun since I love intersections, so check out her entry as well (linked in the Home Game section and in my entry).

And finally, last but not least for our little group is the_vernacular. She wrote a tale modeled after real life polar bears, but with an element of magic. Still a very sad, but enjoyable, tale.

Okay, and I do want to give a shout out to all the home game entries as well. Considering it's getting late and I just read all the entries in the poll, Home Game entries will have to be read tomorrow. I will write up a commentary on those as I read them (that's what I did here).

There's still time if you want to write for the Home Game. You don't compete or anything, it's just writing and getting feedback.

Here's the link to the entries and also the link to share your entries!

But certainly, check out these fine entries and head over to the poll and vote for your favorites. It's set up kinda weird this week, and there's so many variables, you really don't know who could end up going. So show them some support!
