My favorite intersections this week :)

So before I start, I wanted to say I will only rec teams and not individuals. I may vote for an individual even if I didn't like them as a team since I understand some people work with people they don't mesh with and whatnot, I don't hold it against them or anything andI vote on an individual basis. However, for rec's I want to focus on the teams I like as a whole since the fun of an intersection is seeing how the partners decide to connect their pieces.

So that's just me. Plus, I always like to play it safe when it comes to people's feelings. I know it's a cruel, harsh world and it's opinions and whatnot...but I still don't want to get caught up in the world of "Crap. What's wrong with my entry?" when people see their partners rec'ed and not them. I probably err to side of being overly cautious, but I don't like stepping on toes when I may not know everyone I am dealing with. I would prefer to play it safe here.

So combined it is. These are just the teams I liked this week. Sure, some may be flisters, but I don't base it on that...I swear. If I read it and it really connects with me, I rec it. I have unique interests and tend to like things some don't and don't like things others do...it's just how it is. Most of these are actually people I hardly know come to think of it...very few are even on my friends list.

And yes, I vote for WAAAAAAY more than I list here. The only order I go by is alphabetical by the first partners name, down the list. I am not ranking these or anything.

Oh and I am too lazy to mess with html tags tonight as I need to be in bed very soon, so deal with it :P

1) amenquohi and solstice_singer both wrote wonderful pieces, one fiction and the other non-fiction. amenquohi wrote a very awesome and creative fictional piece about a guy who pretty much dictates much of our lives. I was entertained to the end! And her partner wrote a lovely piece about finding her voice once again. It was very inspiring! They do not need to be read in any order and only connect in a small, but very awesome, way.

2) basric and her partner lilyinchains wrote another fiction/non-fiction twist. basric wrote a true story of an evil, evil guy that caused mayhem at her hospital that racked up a high death count. Very creepy! lilyinchains followed up with a fictional approach to the evil guy and the guardian angel after death. I thought it was a fascinating approach! No need to read them in any order.

3) ecosopher and imafarmgirl wrote on one of my favorite topics: philosophy! And they handled it well too. I loved seeing both sides of their story, and ecosopher highlighted some interesting arguments in her piece. Again, no need to read in any order.

4) Okay, I know...this sounds like shameless promotion for my sweetie...but I really did like his piece with his partner this week. I liked both their pieces. I kind of helped throw some ideas his way too and he listened, so maybe I am biased :P But yes, I loved java_fiend and nyxocity pieces this week. Fiction, but less creepy than my honey's usual cup of tea. I think both ending's will make you think. Nope, no order needed here either.

5) How could one not love a piece by the lovely mstrobel? And pair it up with the_vernacular's impeccable style? It came out very, very lovely. I love the story of witchcraft in New England mixed with the idea of revenge and breakups and of course, adding a modern twist by making the ex-lovers both female. mstrobel is one of my favorite Idol writers EVER. She reads like reading from a published book. And the pair of them wrote up something that looks professional. No kidding. Check them out. Okay, I see a trend here...no need to worry about order here either.

6) I will say it again and again...I don't get why redvelvetgrrl doesn't do better in the polls. I really like her entries. A lot. This week is no different. Her partner, xo_kizzy_xo also wrote a piece that I enjoyed immensely. Maybe it's because I can truly relate to everything they are saying about relationships...I dunno. But they really clicked with me. I think everyone should give them a read. Ditto as before on the whole order thing.

7) I think 7 is a good number to end on, what do you think? Especially with the whole "playing the odds" theme going on :P It's the only singlet on the list and it's not because I am not loving her partners work, but she didn't have a partner this week since we are uneven in numbers. But it didn't make her entry shine any less. I LOVED it. I want to read more. It's a fictional story that is really well crafted and will suck you in. I can't even begin to explain it, but check out vaguelyclear's entry and see for yourself :D
