Since I am noticing a few anonymous commenters strolling in, and unlike the spam comments, it appears they came across my blog for a reason, I figured it was best to introduce myself.

I figure this is from an article written in The Angelos for Kappa Delta Sorority. I have yet to read the article, as I haven't gotten my copy yet, so I am not really sure what was said and what wasn't yet.

For those who don't know, my sorority has a national publication strictly for it's current members and alumnae. Yes, I was a member of a sorority. A non-typical one, not one like you see on TV - One I can be very proud to say was very diverse and unlike the perception of sororities I had upon entering college.

For those who have found me from the article, let me introduce myself really quick and explain how Livejournal works.

I am Kristen and Livejournal started out to be where I wrote about my every day experiences. Nothing special, just a couple of my college friends would read. I gradually stepped out and got to know other people. My friends list has grown through the years.

In Livejournal, most of my day to day entries are friends-only, meaning that they are not viewable by the public You have to have an account and add me, then I must add you back to view those. Don't worry, most of what you probably came here to read are public.

My public entries are most from a writing competition I am passionate about called therealljidol. It's currently not taking any new signups, so while you may become a member and watch the game being played (and comment in the Green Rooms and playing The Home Game, which you need to read the FAQ to know all that), you can't currently become a contestant.

The little tags at the bottom where it says "intro"? That is where you can click to find similar entries. Also, take note that I label my fiction as such through those tags. I write fictional pieces which can be true sometimes, so take note before assuming something is real. If it isn't labeled fiction, unless I missed one, then it can be considered true.

I know that the editor was rather interested in this piece when interviewing me for the article, so it may be mentioned. It's the entry I wrote about tabloids and the use of photoshopping photos. Since I know this place can be hard to move around in, here is the direct link.

I greatly appreciate the comments, Livejournal member or not. So feel free to always comment if the mood strikes. Telling me where you found me is always great too. If you are a member, it's nice because then I can comment back and you get an e-mail letting you know that. So feel free to comment and discuss anything. I appreciate knowing I was read.

Thank you for stopping by :)
