If you find that you have been cut from my Flist...read this.
***This is not due to ANY drama or anything, just culling my friends list from those who don't really seem interested in getting to know me. That's all. If you are interested, you will be kept. Simple as that :)
I usually don't do many friends cuts (I cut people that perhaps I don't click with now and then, but usually that doesn't have to happen)....
But I realized that most of the Idolers who added me seemed to have done so with strategy in mind. Or they thought I was someone I wasn't and never clicked with me. Whatever it is, I haven't interacted with them at all outside of Idol (and in some cases, not even in Idol). I have commented on their stuff and just never seem to get a response or anything back. To me, that shows lack of interest and I am fine with that.
I just want to dedicate myself to those who actually want to be my friend. My LJ friends are as real as my real life friends. I love the fact that I can interact with so many of you the way I do. It makes LJ awesome.
For my non-Idol friends, just move along. No one outside of Idol is getting cut.
The people I keep from Idol (and that's most of you (and if we talk AT ALL, then you have no worries), are amazing people and I am so thankful to have you as friends. I will continue talking to you even as Idol comes to an end. No worries there. I never added people for strategy and didn't know others did it either until a conversation recently with a veteran Idol participant.
So if I deleted you, and you want to be friends for any reason, let me know. If you only want to use me as strategy for next season, don't bother. I don't vote based on who is on my friends list. I vote for entries and people I like (and to like you, I have to know you outside of Idol).
