I'd rather think I have one life
and find, one day, I'm wrong
than think I have forever
and meander to a soulless song
A century
to eyes divine
nothing
Thousands (in tens!) and still hundreds more
days in the heart mind and song of mortality
a gift to cherish, and live to the fullest
No time to be making other plans
If I could have forever
I know that I would waste it
If, instead, an endless sea of tomorrows?
I'd dance, and live, with my sorrows
Maybe when I find I'm wrong
I'll hear a message and laugh along
"Enjoy new life, explore, you're fine!
I've got forever now, to change your mind!"
